Vanilla Freeze Mage.  Nothing to write home about, but it just took me one try to beat him with this deck rather than trying to go Mill Rouge.

Very nice stall pally! First try, much easier than other heroic bosses. Was missing 1 Sunwalker, replaced with holy wrath, never drew it though.

It's very fun Shadow Madnessing his undead guys and trade it away, summoning spectral souls for Gothik
As for my winning attempt, he was already at 17 health when he goes to fatique due to gamage he got from those souls :)

the simpliest way is to put into the deck as many buffs as possible. paladin suits the best for the purpose.

My version of cheap Fatigue game against Heroic Ghotic. Try luck with Pyro+Spells and Auchenai+Circle Combos and you will win. I won after 2nd try. If you can't win - try to replace 1-2 Holy Fire for Argus/Other Taunts/2nd Circle

Great job with this deck, first try heroic after more than 20 with mage deck. Didn't have Recombobulator, Arcane Nullifier X-21 nor Mind Control Tech and only one Faerie Dragon, instead used Defender of Argus, Force of Nature, 2 Spectral Knight and Mark of the Wild

We used the Pally deck to fatigue him.  Worked well!  Here's a video guide showing it off.

The Stall mage deck listed in the article worked perfectly the first time on heroic Gothik...it was close tho.  Thanks!

I made it through all the Heroic bosses with a Priest, but failed miserably in front of Gothik. With this guy, you need extra control and AoE. Eventually I got so pissed off that I just wanted him to taste his own medicine. Managed to get him within 5-6 tries with the following Mage deck, Legendary-free (full write-up over there):

I have only basic cards without legendary minions. It was a hard and frustrating fight but I was able to defeat him with this deck:

Finally put him down with that Amaz priest deck.  Son of a gun died to fatigue, if you can believe it.

So, since I'm operating on very few legendaries and epics, I had to work with what I had to take down Gothik (Heroic).  After trying a whole lot of budget decks, the following control mage actually got the job done in a couple tries.  It does take a fair bit of luck, and it's going to be close (I was down to three health by the end).  Use frost nova, flamestrike, and abomination kills to clear or stall the board.  Polymorph the Riders.  Remember that placement of minions is key, since the ghosts spawn to the right on your field - and you'll want to set them up for Protectors and Defenders.  Anyhow, here's the deck.

I think you can beat heroic Gothic with Totalbiscuit's bounce/mill deck(because gothik mill himself and with that deck you make it happen much faster

(its a bad deck but with heroic gothik it might kick ass)

That shaman deck is waaaay too slow.
