Anub'Rekhan Boss Guide
Anub'Rekhan is the first boss in the Curse of Naxxramas adventure. He resides in the Arachnid Quarter.
Heroic Difficulty Strategy
If you're on normal difficulty, the same mechanics can be applied, it's just an easier fight!
- His hero power has been changed to summon a 4/4 Nerubian instead of 3/1. These need to be cleared quickly before you are overwhelmed.
- Board clears are one of your best friends in this match-up as you'll be able to quickly get rid of minions protected behind some taunters, lowering damage you'll take.
- Taunt minions are your second best friend. Use them to help trade effectively. If you can buff your taunts, even better.
- Poison Seeds, obtainable from the Druid class challenge, is a great card to help clear the enemy board.

Reward
Upon defeating Anub'Rekhan for the first time, you will receive Haunted Creeper. Additionally, you will also gain the ability to craft a Golden version of the card.

Posted Apr 26, 2018 (Witchwood)Post Witchwood: Used Rage_HS's Quest Hunter and was able to beat it first try in Heroic mode.
The AI tends to attack and clear your board before going face. Since you have plenty of 1 drops with this deck, it helps to avoid early face damage even though you lose board control. Deathstalker Rex and toxmonger+archer battlecry are your best friends. Once you finish the quest and put keleseth down, your chances of winning are pretty decent as you overwhelm the board.

Posted Jan 22, 2017 (Gadgetzan)I fought Anub'Rekhan about 20 times using the Priest and Druid decks listed int he comments. Nothing worked.
The 1st match I used my Standard C'Thun* Warior deck, I won. If you are stuck, give the deck a shot. He got me down to 1 life before i dropped C'thun and shielded up for the win.
Helluva fight!

imo there's no point clearing his board, just go for the boss with everything u got. My every attempt to gain control of the board was a failure, but firss try to kill the boss asap was a succes.
