Nobody asked for anyone's opinion so far, and yet this resource is full of stupid people expressing their opinions. Would you mind telling each one of them to shut up?
And what is he wrong about? An expansion does not have to deliver a lot of aggressive cards for this expansion's meta to be aggressive, so you, clearly, are wrong.
Give us the second Death Knight already blizzard
but we don't know the hero power or anything yet
they well wait for tomorrow
yeah, they'll probably show 1 or 2 more tomorrow.
I hope to not see other discard card thing for the warlock. This is such a bad mechanic
some leaks say that the warlock deathknight will be 10mana Summon minions you discarded this game.
so that might make discard warlock an actual good deck.
Freeze Shaman sounds like an interesting concept.
Looks like Ironbeak Owl and Spellbreaker are going to be seeing more play.
looks like a must.
I feel like people say this during every release period, especially MSoG but there's always better removal than silence. I could be wrong but other than a couple deathrattles nothing released so far can't be dealt with in the current meta.
more like mass dispell in kazakus priest ?
Seems like this expansion is pushing for a more slow, control meta, which I really like. :)
I just hope this expansion would make sure aggro decks, such as pirate warrior or aggro druid, don't take over the meta and ruin this expansion. :(
Bets are they will though.
The cards look good. But this set needs at least 80 viable cards because we are losing a tremendous amount of power after blizzcon and the set is only 135 cards. With a 200 card pack following in December I truly hope the cards balance the meta out further and not bring the same shock as Ungoro (Quest Roque) and MSOG (Jade Idol). Especially now that we've seen they wlll nerf cards with 45% win-rates even if the card is just 3 months old. Let alone the fact that only 1 of the 9 iconic quest cards from the just 3 months old xpac is still viable. Which is embarrassing really and this brings the need for new sets to even out-power the previous set more to the foreground.
There has never in the history of this game been a more balanced metagame. Though, Warlock has taken a considerable hit. BUT Warlock has ALWAYS been strong up until now. So even with Warlock being practically useless, that too is balanced, in a way.
Can't agree with you more. Basically every class has at least two "modes" of play right now (to use some really bad examples of overplayed decks in the meta: Pirate Warrior or Quest Warrior). Even Warlock has Zoo or Bloomdoom - I'm not here to argue viability, just options, as I'm strictly F2P casual. The fact that we've had so few nerfs (think about this time last year when Shaman got how many cards overhauled?) is a good sign of healthy design. When a card is too warping (Rogue Quest) it is dealt with after ample time. Looking at other card games (namely Magic) designers NEVER want to keep upping the power creep, that ultimately destroys the game through shear absurdity of the cards they print (Yu-Gi-Oh) or massively disappoints its player base when the power level shifts dramatically back to a weaker level (this has happened in Magic's past, but lately has been curbed). I'm not a Blizz fanboy (this is the only Blizzard game I play, and only casually at that) but if they can keep an even keel expansion to expansion it will keep meta's more diverse and the game alive a lot longer.
Thanks to those who read all that, and if you didn't the reader's digest version: Blizz, keep doing what you're doing!
Let's go, Druid card! Only class we haven't seen anything from yet.
Ramp druid uses alot of taunt, and another stupid highmana card that barnes can profit from isnt so bad.
taunts for example:
Bog Creeper
Soggoth
Primordial Drake
Ancient of war
