Journey to Un'Goro is Hearthstone's fifth expansion. It will release on April 6th!
Expansion Information
- The expansion releases April 6.
- 135 New Cards will be added to the game.
- There is a new tribe called Elemental. Some olders cards will gain this tribe.
- There are new Quest cards which are Legendary Spells.
- You can have only one in your deck and they're always in your opening hand. (Discuss Quests)
- You have the option to mulligan your Quest.
- A new keyword called Adapt has been added.
- They work like the Discover mechanic and let you choose 1 option of 3 (pool of 10) to add to your minion. (Discuss Adapt)
- A pre-order is available for $49.99 USD which gives you 50 packs and a special card back.

The Adapt Mechanic
The new Adapt Mechanic works like Discover in that you get to choose from 3 random options. These are all the options available.
- Liquid Membrane - Can't be targeted by spells or Hero Powers.
- Flaming Claws - +3 Attack
- Crackling Shield - Divine Shield
- Living Spores - Deathrattle: Summon two 1/1 Plants.
- Massive - Taunt.
- Lightning Speed - Windfury
- Volcanic Might - +1 / +1
- Rocky Carapace - +3 Health
- Shrouding Mist - Stealth until your next Turn
- Poison Spit - Poisonous

Although you can't make use of this offer for Un'Goro packs yet, you can collect cards on the cheap from expansions by using Amazon Coins. It does require an Android device though since you need to install the Amazon Underground Appstore in order to get the correct Hearthstone app that lets you redeem the coins.
So go buy some Amazon Coins at a discount to get cheaper packs! You can save your coins for the Un'Goro launch or spend them on older packs now. [Hopeful] guess at what the 3 mana 4/8 is in the intro to the expansion trailer:
Rogue minion, whenever you play a minion return it to your hand.
Reasoning: unless its a shaman minion it has to have a massive downside, and not being able to play anything else is pretty big. As for why that effect in rogue: it is a plant, which is a rogue thing, and the devs have said we shouldn't even try to evaluate The Caverns Below yet.
Its a massive guess and is probably way off, but it would be really cool if it was something like this.
Edit: In hindsight this would be too strong in any spell based deck. oh well
They'll likely have some card with a gangup type of effect, but probably not as good OR weaker BUT tied with a minion and combo effect. perhaps even tied to the minion specifically such as "Combo: Place a copy of this minion into your deck OR Summon as1/1." ... , shadowcasters exist for now along with steps... and youthful brewmasters have always been good in mill which was my goto when I was feeling frustrated. Mill in standard probably won't be very winnable, let alone with Epic wins .So, once the expansion hits my goto will likely become rope burning while watching TV I guess when I'm losing half the time and need to forc emyself to continue grinding heh
Mike Donais' chat with Trump sounded more like there isn't another card for bouncing things, but the effect is just difficult to gauge.
Still, hopeful prediction number 2: It is a token minion, hatched from 3 mana dormant minion similar to Sherazin, Corpse Flower. "Play 4 cards in 1 turn to 'revive'/hatch this minion." (the dormant may be a battlecry so it is easy to understand when you open the card in a pack)
Again it is a stretch but I can see it working with that stat-line this time.
(It had better at least be a rouge minion after all of this :P)
I really hope the give warrior a good quest with a reward that have enough long term value to defeat jade, so control warrior would become good again
It'll likely be something like "build X amount of armor or gain armor X amount of times" or "play X amount of taunt minions" or "attack with a weapon X amount of times"
You must be smoking something good if you think that's anything anybody would have the patience to play against. May as well concede and move on and play three matches in the same amount of time. 60 + armor is ridiculous on top of things like brawl and cards in the recent sets along with it
I think it will be Destroy X minions, but a really big number like 15.
But the reward will be something to win the game for real hahaha.
Warrior I still have no idea what the plan with them is, but I think the Paladin quest will have to do with Adapt since Galvadon is adapt x5. Probably play 5 adapt cards. If Paladin doesn't get that quest, then I bet druid will.
remember justicar is going out, so something along the lines of 20 armor would be reasonable between spells, other cards' effects and the hero power.
Murlocs are looking like they're going to be strong once this expansion drops.

I do enjoy the card reveals in advance of an expansion, but how nuts would it be if they released one with zero reveals.. like the expansion just drops.. and everyone has to figure out decks on the fly
That would be insane, but it would be really hard to keep the cards under wraps and avoid leaks.
even so, a couple of leaks probably wouldn't be a huge deal. if most of the set was hidden from prying eyes, that would be enough. maybe show off the new quest cards and a few cards that synergize well with them and then leave the rest boxed up until release. could be a really cool prospect for arena players and deckbuilders alike.

If the mage quest has something to do with elementals I'm so down, I'll run elemental mage, even if it's crap.
the mage quest wil have elementals most probably...and the othe thing could be secrets....but i prefer elementals too!!
