Boss Overview
Big Bad Wolf is the second boss in The Opera wing of the One Night in Karazhan adventure.
Pro Tips and Strategy
- Big Bad Wolf begins with 20 Health and 15 Armor.
- The board will initially contain 3 enemy Kindly Grandmother. Silence here can be helpful, just make sure you can kill the spawned minions off asap to prevent yourself from taking critical amounts of damage.
- His passive hero power forces all minions to cost 1 mana and your minions which are summoned will only have 1/1 stats.
- Due the hero power, minions which generate tokens that can flood the board become very valuable.
- Cards which buff your 1/1 minions can help you get more valuable trades. Think Blessing of Kings.
- Be wary of Swipe, it can ruin your hopes and dreams.
- Steward of Darkshire makes this fight hilarious for Paladins. Shields for everyone!
- Kel'Thuzad can provide infinite value. Bosses don't attack minions until Kel'Thuzad is killed so buffing him and keeping him behind a taunt minion makes life easy.
- Flamewreathed Faceless - The 1 mana 7/7.
- Abomination has been suggested as a great way to clear out the Big Bad Wolf.
- Explosive Sheep also has the same effect if you want to give yourself better chances of drawing into the AoE effect but do keep in mind you need to kill it yourself as it doesn't have taunt.
- C'Thun can be fun during this fight. He will spawn with his actual stats and can provide some nice clear.
- Twin Emperor Vek'lor will spawn his brother with his full stats. The value!

- The Prologue - Wing 1

- The Opera - Wing 3
- The Menagerie - Wing 4
- The Spire - Wing 5
All these proposed decks are thousands of dust in cost. This sucks.
The one i posted has quite a few legendaries but the only ones that are really necessary are Sneed's & N'zoth. The alternative is using none of them at all and running Blood of the Ancient one as your win condition as it spawns a 30/30, but would have to play a few times until you draw them in your first few turns.
Killed him with Varian, Y'Shaarj and Heroes of Stormwind, second try. Pretty easy battle if you survive the first 4-5 turns.
Use Rag
Used Druid for Heroic, Innervate is awesome though with draw enabling.
Heroic Big Bad Wolf - 1 shot with this deck.
Remember - Every minion you summon costs only 1 mana, but they all start as a 1/1 minion. Anything that spawns from a deathrattle is not debuffed and will come out at it's regular strength, as well as minions that are resurrected even if they died as a 1/1, they will return at their original state.
Important - You basically want to flood your deck with high-cost or high-value deathrattles that either buff your minions or spawn more minions. You want to have your first 3-4 turns putting out your best deathrattles and then getting N'zoth out by turn 5 latest (even earlier if you are lucky). From there you should win the game after a few face hits, depending on how well you have managed the bosses side of the board in that time. I used freezing and explosive traps which worked perfectly.
Note: As i 1-shot this fight by around turn 7, half of this deck i didn't even see, so you can tweak it however you like, but the cards i had used and re-summoned through N'zoth to win the fight were: Sneed's Old Shredder, Wobbling Runts, Piloted Shredder & Haunted Creeper. I used most of them to clear the board before resummoning to flood my board and the bosses side of the board was empty, which made it a very easy win from there. Also note that the legendary Sneed's gets you is important and you should get that summoned asap as you could luck out with a huge minion. For me i got Malkorok from him.
Most of these legendaries can be swapped out if you don't have them, except for Sneed's. I highly recommend using Sneed's as it was definitely my winner. I didn't have Gruul but i assume he would be quite good too.
Nice Deck! First try! After you play N'zoth there's not much he can do...
yep. 1-drop 4/6 Druid of the Claw makes for a nice turn one
finally Gruul is awsome, and dr.Boom comes back swinging.
Can't wait to fight this boss and his gimmick :D
