Big priest is always "fine" as a deck when it comes to power levels. You'll get wins when it comes to value based games. Dunno how it stands up against aggro decks though, and hyper aggro decks will always be around. It's more so now thanks to recent sets. So take that into account.
Personally I despise the deck but it will get you wins.
Well, big priest is still frustrating in the sense that the archetype hasn't changed and requires virtually zero skill to play while also being incredibly boring to play against. If this is what you consider "fun" then I suppose it has that going for it. In terms of performance it is decent with two decklists at 56 percent and one decklist at 54 percent wr in diamond thru legend according to hsreplay. Shadow priest is still outperforming it by a fair margin though, so you shouldn't play it over that if climbing is your priority. Ultimately big priest is a safe, if boring and somewhat toxic, choice for ladder.
Big priest is fine at the moment, from what I’ve seen. I really don’t know how it handles the Quest Hunter matchup though. I imagine it’s hard to win, since Hunter can just turbo you down while ignoring your minions, and I don’t think you can reliably race them. Big priest does do well against control decks like Hand/Evenlock, as well as aggressive strategies like pirate warrior.
As people have noted, games can be a little bit one dimensional, as you just focus on resurrecting something every turn and just our value your opponent, with minimal decision points on your end. However, if you want a simple and fun deck to play, Big Priest certainly fits that bill.

So I was thinking about finally crafting big priest since it looks kinda fun and not super frustrating like it used to be.
Any thoughts about how it is performing in the current meta? Specifically odd quest hunter since it seems to be most of what I'm facing
Thanks!
