I've always loved the oil rogue playstyle. I only really started playing it way after it got pushed to wild, but still, if I were to guess, I've about 200-300 wins with the deck. Lately I've been playing some kingsbane rogue in standard, and while it's fun, I know the place where Kingsbane really shines is wild, with the oil.
I've found some recent-ish list on the internet, and made some adjustments to it. It's fun to play, but I can't help but think that there;s much room for improvement. Also, with there only being 30 cards in the deck it's actually really hard to decide what you want to put in, because the deck is so flexible. The playstyle itself is also quite interesting, because you want to have minions to buff with the oil, but not too much so they don't interfere with you tutoring your shinyfinders.
Anyway, here's the list I'm currently running - any input will be appreciated.

"The flow of time is always cruel... its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it... A thing that does not change with time is a memory of younger days..."
My opinion is you lack of tempo and put too much dmg. Kingsbane is enough for win, you don't need cold blood or Oil combo.
I think you are oblige to have Green Skin and valeera for this reason. Green skin with valeera and specially lab recruiter is really strong. Good buff and really nice body on board. Double gingling with valeera and sending back with vanish for more tempo and more weapon swing is also pretty strong. Double deadly poison with valeera is also insane. Doomsayer is good early and also after a vanish of course.
I find shiv pretty bad since early minions have been powerlvl in HP and you have already many draw option.
From my experience 2 lab recruiter is too much and Blade furry with this deck is strong but 2 is also too much.
Aggainst aggro you will have more trouble but it s not lose at 100%.
I did Rank 3 standar with this deck and that can go Legend.
Good Luck

Can someone explain me what Oil archetype is? I've always heard about it but I haver never understood the meaning
Oil archetype was a rogue deck that used Tinker's Sharpsword Oil and Blade Flurry to pull off massive burst damage. The archetype no longer exists because Blade Flurry was nerfed to no longer hit the opponent's face. This message is for you as well op. Decks that run Kingsbane should be labeled as such. Oil is just another weapon buff in a Kingsbane deck and it's often pretty underwhelming in it.
Well, I think oil is a different archetype than just Kingsbane, because it's usually much faster. Also, why do you think oil is underwhelming in a Kingsbane deck? The +3 damage on the weapon and potential +3 on a minion feels powerful.

because that minion attack is irrelevant when you dont have much minions. all your minion health is very low.
so 4 mana for 3 attack. meh.
AND FOR OP! im sharing the same love against oil but unfortunately that archetype(esp the one you gave the list) only works around low ranks. ive tried so hard for any oil resemblance and you cant just do a successful one. espm right now against; aggro mage, star druid, even shaman, odd rogue, big priest and reno decks. ( tho ive beaten some renos)

Maybe cut Shiv and add instead Greenskin?

Imo, full Kingsbane setup does not fit Oil/Miracle.
Pure Oil tries to burst down the enemy with sudden damage, killing before being killed - without caring too much about long-term survival.
Kingsbane with lifesteal is a matter of survival and slow and relentless overpowering.
My opinion is you lack of tempo and put too much dmg.
