I've already got The Soularium and the Warlock quest. Discard lock seems like a fun deck from what I've seen in some video's (like Kripp's Discolock), but the winrates on hsreplay seem to be beyond horrible.
I'd rather play a fun deck than a boring tier 1 aggro deck or whatever. But idk about spending like 4000 dust on a deck that's gonna make me lose 9/10 games. Is it really that bad?
It's too early to say. Discard has some insane potential with Jeklik and the new targetted Discard. It's a much better deck than it ever was. However, it's also quite difficult to build since there's no clear indication as to what plan works better (going control and try to win with infinite value, try to outpressure opponents with OVerstatted minions and infinite imps, trying to handbuff Jeklik and spamming big healing taunts)
I can'T wait to play the deck, but I'm waiting on crafting Jeklik and Soularium until the meta has settled enough so we can fgure out which approach works best.
I disenchanted the Blood Queen last expansion since I didn’t play her in like 12 months. So of course the expansion before rotation they make a cool discard lock viable. I wouldn’t craft the old garbage because it rotates in just one expansion. If you like Wild, then it is worth it. I’d rather play a deck that’s able to see play longer than one expansion.
It's not worth crafting a legendary card (Zavas) that will rotate out of standard in 4 month, considering also that DiscoLock could be a high tier deck but not a tier 1 for the moment.
I suggest you to wait until the meta settles down and then, if you still want to go all out with this archetype, craft all the cards you need (except Zavas which is strong but not highly necessary: DiscoLock will surely receive further support in the future expansions so no need to worry)
Well here is what i did. i dusted lots of cards plus some legs that indont use and went ahed crafted: Jeklik, Quest, Zavas, 2x Soulwardens, Doomguards, Malchezars imp, Silverware Golem, Howlfiend etc. which costed me 6k dust. and im happy with it even tho i mostly play rogue and i dont even have guldan dk or soularium.
Even if Discard-Lock will never be competitive, Jeklik is still good in Zoo (fits perfectly in the Heal-package, and couple of Discards in that deck). I wouldn't prioritize her craft but she'll be decent if you already got her. Good luck!
The new warlock champion is good anyway, it's just a free discard in every deck that runs discards.. maybe even control lock will start running some discards (only targeted ones.. or with soul warden.. the card just looks like good value, unsure about the rest of the cards..

Bruh have you forgotten about Wild. 2x cheaper then standard and way more fun.
If you only need to craft those 2 legendaries it may be worth it. Soularium sees play in every zoo deck ever and jeklik will probaly be able to played outside discolock. I think it may be worth it and definently will be if you play wild.

Wild isn't always cheaper than standard. The aggro/tempo decks use a crap ton of commons and rares, but if you want to play the more control/midrange/gimmick decks, that's when it starts getting expensive. You will have to include certain incredibly powerful cards to keep up with other decks, otherwise you will fall behind.
All I have to say is that if Jeklik ever gets nerfed (which I'm not saying it will but there's already a lot of salt) you're going to be left with a bunch of bad support discard cards. It's up to you to decide if it is worth taking a gamble to craft cards that you won't get refunded for if a nerf does come along.
If you know how to play, then pretty much any deck, even the lowest tier, won't make you loose 9/10 games on average. That said your investment decision really depends on your priorities, it certainly isn't, and I feel fairly confident saying also won't be, an easy deck to climb with. But games should be played for fun, unless you make a living off of playing them. I think I'll invest into Uther even though it rotates out soon and I'm not certain it will be a tier 1 deck, though admittedly I'm pretty sure it'll boast a significantly higher winrate than Discolock, and I'm likely to do so simply because I'm really keen on trying the deck out. Admittedly this approach can lead you to bad decisions at times as the case of me crafting both the warrior and the hunter quests would serve to illustrate, but I regret those decisions not because those decks were never tier 1, it's just because I didn't find them as fun to play as I expected them to be. Life is tough on a budget in HS, but just as in the real world, sometimes you end up regretting not having tried something more than having given it a go and it having failed.

Hey guys, quick question for anyone who has the full Discard Warlock deck: Is it worth crafting Clutchmother Zavas, High Priestess Jeklik and Soulwarden?

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

Hir'eek, grant me wings!
Love that line and the animation too

or deathwing. and i play wild.
Best summon quote from this expansion by far. The voice actress did a great job.
Thanks guys. I crafted priestess (fill in rest of name), it definitely seems like the one card that could make Discardlock somewhat viable.

Unfortunately, it's a negatory on the craft. The mechanic, like handbuff, will never be viable.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
