So, why is this such a big deal? Because, both in Wild AND Standard, there is a potentially game-breaking combo. Warlock can easily get to Fatigue, especially with Keening Banshee, Fel Reaver, and Hemet, Jungle Hunter. These are just the bare bones combos, yet you can easily see how fast it ramps up with this deck.
This is not good. I repeat, this is not good. The combo could, with the right deck, become so strong in both Standard AND Wild that no other deck is playable.
But Keening Banshee and Fel Reaver would just burn your combo pieces. You can't just sit around with a bunch of dead combo pieces and self-mill cards that you can't play because Bloodbloom is still in your deck somewhere.
People are approsaching Mecha'thun as a main and only 1 wincondition of the deck. However, thew should focus on playing it as one of the winconditions. I can definitelly see that it can be run in some Reno decks as a last stand. However, in a build around deck, he might be bad. Especially like this one with Keening Banshees that might burn your combo pieces. Probs for creativity though :)

You use them once you draw your combo pieces, which there are few of. They're to burn your deck.
Ooooh boy. Well, Mecha'thun meta incoming, potentially.

Nope. It’s still too slow.
My dreaming ends... Your nightmare... begins...

Someone forgot to tell OP Mecha'thun is a meme card.
I'm aware it is, but it actually has potential.
