Day 5 of ESGN's Fight Night Season 2 was today. In case you missed it, here is our coverage of days one, two, three, and four. As the series is tied up 2:2, the series will be determined by an ace match in which both teams face each other in collaborative games. This episode also involved a pick and ban phase, in which each team got to pick and ban classes.
Game 1
Team DogeHouse went into the first game with a custom miracle Rogue deck, while team ManaGrind built a handlock/giants/control Warlock.
An uneventful early game transitioned into a strong midgame board for team DogeHouse. ManaGrind responded with a strong double Ancient Watcher taunt wall, but DogeHouse was able to clear that up within a turn. Going into the late game, team DogeHouse just had too strong of a hand for the Warlock to deal with, eventually overrunning team ManaGrind.
Game 3
Team ManaGrind chose to play a rather strange Warrior deck not often seen in tournaments, in response to the Druid win of DogeHouse.
The Warrior deck was able to dish out some early aggression, but the Druid drew answer after answer, controlling the board once the midgame hit. In spite of this control, said early aggression had managed to drop DogeHouse down to a mere 11 health. Transitioning into the late game, DogeHouse was able to translate continued board control into chipping away at ManaGrind's health. ManaGrind ended up falling to a full board.
Game 4
For their final deck, team ManaGrind had to select their Paladin list.
Like game two, the early game started slow. Some minion trading in the midgame led to a late game where, once again, team DogeHouse's Druid had a hand that was holding all the answers. A crazy Tinkermaster Overspark play into a Swipe managed to clear all of ManaGrind's board, securing DogeHouse's advantage. The late game saw both teams at around half life, with the Druid starting to swing hard for the face.
Unable to keep up with DogeHouse's late game aggression, ManaGrind lost the match 3:1 and the series 3:2.

A turn four Mountain Giant and a turn five 4/9 Twilight Drake put ManaGrind in an early lead; DogeHouse responded with a chain of free spells to draw cards off of Gadgetzan Auctioneer, but ManaGrind took the game on turn six with a Leeroy Jenkins.
Game 2
To go up against ManaGrind Warlock, DogeHouse decided to take their non-watcher Druid deck to the table.
