Two days ago I had my first 0-3 run in KnC. Since KnC started, I've played about 50 Arena games, and I've had four 12-win runs (all recorded on this site in my decks and on the mega-thread). I've had a couple of 1-3's. My average is 5.3 since KnC started.
I was completely owned by everyone. After the run, I realized something: I had not been offered any rarity higher than Rare. Using my decktracker, I've been noticing more and more that I'm being beaten by players with higher quantities of Epics than I have.
People have been complaining about how expensive the game is getting because of the increasing quality of Epics.
Are you finding your runs being swung by QUANTITY of Epics offered, both to you and your opponent?
I've done at least 20 arena runs since KnC, I've had 3 where I've had less than 2 epics offered to me and one of those was without any epics at all.
I've also yet to be offered a legendary pick. At all. In all my arena runs (more than 50) I think I've been offered 7 legendaries altogether and 3 of those were in one deck.
I'm very, very close to giving up on arena to be honest. Seems no matter what I do, what I use, how I pick the cards or what cards I'm offered, I can never win more than 3 battles. I've won 5 once. That's it.
I feel like I have seen the opposite. Lately I have played against a legendary in every game. I currently have two legendary cards in my own deck. It has been my most frustrating run yet. Started 0-2 by two perfect draw pallys, I mean I have an arcane explosion and they still curve out things like Tirion...wtf
My current deck was offered three terrible epics as its first pick so I assumed it was going to be bad, but then got better after that.
I dont actually like having legendaries in my drafts, call it a confirmation bias, but i tend to do a lot worse with them. Not rly cause i would draft any differently cause i would be like OMFG i have Ysera! hell yeah! suck it loosers! but rather that i always seem to get matched vs even crazier decks :D again, call it a confirmation bias, but i will take a Hallucination or Deadly Poison over Tirion any day :D

I am the same way honestly. I got Antonis and the Mage staff and barely won 3 games, the whole time I did dumb plays like oohhhh better save that spell for when I get tony down...

I drafted what I thought was a below-average tempo Rogue deck. http://www.heartharena.com/arena-run/hzkmpo
