Its likely that the opponent only picked dragonhawk as it has great synergy with his deck and although he got very lucky that stuff just kinda happens. I find that arena has the same luck than in standard but skill becomes much more of a factor and often outweighs luck.
Normally someone drops dragonhawk and it's a sigh of relief that they picked a bad card, but you still try to kill it cuz, stuff happens. What you are describing isn't luck. You could say you getting to that point where you thought for sure you were going to win was luck. This is just what Hearthstone is.
Just to be more clear why I don't consider it luck, this is exactly why people desperately try to kill anything with windfury. Because they've dealt with this same situation, a couple buffs and you've lost the game.

This isn’t a salt thread, I just want to know if this is normal in arena:
I have pretty big board with decent stats, opponent has 1 card in hand, nothing in deck
Opponent topdecks sprint, I pass to avoid playing into removal
Opponent plays young dragonhawk, as well as equality consecrate. I build up a big board again
Opponent plays bonemare double cold blood on the dragonhawk for 2 over lethal
Doesnt this seem a bit too... lucky... This was for sure one of the most strange things to happen to me in this game.
Yup, that happens relatively often lately.

Thats why taunts and removals are cool in arena :D
Love the tribes.
Well, the real turning point was equality+consecration: from there you lost initiative, and it's hard to get it back.
Also consider that your opponent knows his own deck, and all those burst cards are built upon each other, purposedly, not randomly.
A bit of card draw rng is obviously there, but he chose Sprint exactly to empower his card draw for combo potential.
I mean, if you look from your opponent's perspective, you will realise that this was part of his strategy.
Tl;dr: looks like normal Arena sh1t happenz to me.
Very normal. Part of why Arena is more fun and/or infuriating!
Can give you comparable scenarios on a nightly basis almost.
