But usually with rogue it works this way: you agressively take tempo with your efficient early-game and then just snowball with on-curve plays. Btw, personal advice - if you are going first and you have 2-1 1-drop - dont save it for the effect, just play as is.

I usually play them against most of the opponents except mage , which mostly relies on removal . I think value is more important than tempo in those matchups. Do you think I should play them on turn 1 against mages too?
I think it still worth if you have follow-up play. Its all about tempo these days. If you confident that you deck can win on value - sure, you can play slower. But personally I think it will work only if you have insane quality deck AND your opponent wont have some ridiculous shit opener.
