Tip 1: Use turn 1 and turn 2 to discover 3, 4, 5 mana cost minions. We can easily create board control in that way just by dropping minion in order.
(Potential Risk) One mistake one may make is to pick the best minion among 3 choices in the first two turns. Sometimes you get some really good late game cards in the early pick, but I recommend to get the card that fits the curve. We want to give pressure opponent with minions. At the same time, we cannot get to late game if we cannot control the board from early game. Recommend to pick good 3, 4, 5 mana cost minion. After turn 5, see the board state to decide whether to pick minion or spell. If you already control the board, you can get some spell for conditional use.
Tip 2 : You can save a few Raven Idols to find response to unexpected play from your opponent.
Tip 3: recommend to pick minion for most of the time to control board unless you play against heavy AOE class like mage and priest.
TIp 4: save the coin if possible, half of the time you are one mana short because you used one mana to discover the card you need.
Special Note: Hunter is a special class, you can get all spell or hunter. SInce the deck is Raven Idol, To My Side!, can activate for most of the time. Try to get Lesser Emerald Spellstone in the first two turns, then find secrets to upgrade it. Should be able to give pressure with turn 3 Animal companion, Turn 5 Spellstone, Turn 6 Spellstone or To My Side!
Honorable mention: (Priest) Lyra is good for early game pick and we can get value after that. Priest of Feast can save you from low health. (Warlock) Rin for ideal deck destroy when you have board control. (Mage) Archmage Antonidas generates fireball for face damage or minion destruction. Flamewaker basically is a machine gun power force. Sorcerer's Apprentice acts like Emperor Tharussian in early pick for Mana reduction. (Mage) (Hunter) To My Side! activates for most of time in this format. Lesser Emerald Spellstone gives a lot of pressure when it is fully upgraded. Flanking Strike not only take out enemy minion, but also allows you to summon a minion, Value!
