Do you mean the stupid 1 mana card that aggro and token decks abuse because they counter almost every 2. card of the opponent? It was stupid to begin with and I really hate those uninteractive 90% spell decks.

"... but not less than (1)" is needed now more than ever!
I don't think those removal tools are really needed for dealing with Trogg. It just counters decks that don't have space for early game control. DH, Hunter, Mage, Priest and rogue already have the option of running spell heavy decks and kill this off without a problem. They just don't...
It's a matter of how much ramp/tempo decks will dominate. I'd rather believe that aggro and value decks will be too good for trogg
so many new cards to counter our little friend. Most of the new low cost spells Counter Irondeep Trogg. Which makes me sad.
Thing is for aggressive token and board aggro decks, playing Trogg is exactly what their gameplan wants. For most spell based decks they do not want to be taking time dealing with Trogg, and have to actually deviate from what they would want to do in the early game just to deal with it.
That's still an aggro win.

Still shocked we have a 1 drop that punishes the coin. Two classes in particular abuse it as they have really powerful 2 mana buffs that can win the game on the spot vs the right opponent. Pretty dumb, trogg should cost 2 mana at least.

I mean, you are right. There shouldn't be counter any counter plays to trogg. In fact, i think trogg played on 1 should force your opponent to concede
Finally. Was stupid since beginning, even after nerf.
Best card in HS? Mastercard.
Good riddance, many games won just by having that card on turn 1.
Still in more than 50% of all aggro decks and still performing great...
