I know it's not a OTK (it sometimes can be) but it definitely feels like there is zero player interaction from my end, and this all comes from Alexstrasza.
Does anyone else think it's Alexstrasza time to be Hall Of Famed ?

Run albatroz and try to ressurrect many times as possible but warlock is favored vs priest and DH, that is why have so many of them in ladder.
Alex apparently was considered to be HOF'ed, but since we still have her in the game, it pretty much means they decided that it's alright and probably will stay till something really breaks it (like Freeze Mage).
I would say Alex is needed in the game. It's the best replacement for Reno we have. Control decks need her to stabilize vs hyper aggro. I can't express how many games I was basically in full control vs aggro deck in the late game, but constantly on a verge of dying to any direct damage from top. Alex in such cases usually makes them auto-concede. The only other reliable heal in neutral standard cardpool is Khartut Defender. And it will rotate out, opposite to Alex.
Another thing is Alex allows control decks to kill other control decks. It makes those games at least a tad bit more exciting, when you know that every time you leave a board and not clear it, you may die, even from full health. There has to be a way to punish greedy decks, other than just killing them by turn 6.
It's not as bad as other problematic cards currently, plus in addition to that, it's a 9 mana card limiting its OTK potential. If your opponent has 15 damage on board and you don't clear it for whatever reason, you're probably rightfully getting punished for greed.
Worst case scenario with Alex, you deal 15 damage at turn 9 or restore 14 health as best case scenario at turn 9. Since Leeroy is gone and "cost less" cards are getting harder to come by, it's a slow-paced Control card and this is far from a Control meta. Malygos on the other hand is a highly powerful OTK card that'll have you waiting ten turns to lose if you're not armored up to high hell. However, Jepetto into Alex + Maly followed up next turn with Alex + Maly + Lightning Bolt + Lava Burst = 18 direct damage combo for Shamans. Even Warlocks can pull off Malygos combos with Quest Warlock using a 0 mana Malygos to play Nether Breath x2 + Soulfire = 19-27 direct damage! (Much trickier to combo)
All in all If Alexstraza ever gets HOF'ed, ffs take that busted POS Malygos along with it kicking and screaming.
Yeah... it's called a combo deck... It's what beats control decks... How many times have you seen a t1 or t2 OTK deck? I can't think of one I've seen in standard... Ever.

Completely agree, I have lost too many games at or close to 30 HP facing a board with either nothing on it or at least nothing threatning to just be dropped to 15 with Alex and then killed with some combination involving Zephrys and one or 2 otherwise not as impactfull resorces
In this meta that is either DH or Galakrond decks, having a 5 attack weapon equiped from turn 9 forward is very common, either from Galakrond or a turn 10 Zephrys that gives you Tirion - disgustingly rogue can bounce Zephrys up 2 or 3 times easily, so he can get the Tirion on one turn, bounce zephrys and then have him in hand ready to play at 0 mana alongside alex - So if you leave anything on the board, you can get dropped to 15 (sometimes by a 0 cost Alex OG from the "new" Alex atacked for 5 from the weapon and for example get a 10 cost Pyroblast from a 0 cost Zephrys - sounds farfetched but had happened to me more than once.
Alexstrasza was a fun, cool tech card 5-7 years ago. With the insane power creep that has happened since then she´s not really very fun anymore. There´s no real interaction and the swings are way too big.
But dont expect any changes. Blizzard currently loves RNG to decide games instead of actual skill or good plays with the insane amount of "Cast X amounts of spells, or summon X amounts of X" etc. You could play a game perfectly, execute your stragety to perfection and have the opponent right where you want him only to lose everything to one Yogg box or Warlock Galakrond or Solarian Prime. Its so dumb and incredibly frustrating.

I've been solely playing dormant/buff Priest all expansion and having fun + success against nearly everyone bar Warlock.
I usually only win if I get a good start and they don't have Plague of Flames or get lucky with them having a very bad Galakrond, the Wretched turn.
Most of the time, I'm on 30 hp they're on 10-15 and drawn most of their deck with a combination of Alexstrasza + Galakrond, the Wretched weapon and/or Zephrys the Great is always a winning play.

im totally agree, it would be good but HoF was in this year already
I like her. Keep her in standard, IMO.

Yes i was disappointed that Alexstrasza was not HOF this time around, 7 years of dealing with this card and god knows how many more.

i don't mind the card but it could be time to move her to HoF.

You literally just called THE meme card busted.
