for two weeks I can’t past rank 2.After I reach rank 2 I stay on it for five games and then drop to rank 3 again.
I use secret mage because I have bigger success with it rather than “murlockpali” and “dudepali”.So... I really need someone to give me some advices or help me reach legend because it seems I can’t do it by myself.I wish really appreciate any help from anyone.
Last week I played five hours a day and I made few changes in the deck, most of the lost are thanks to luck
This won’t go over well. Many on this board believe the skill required on par with chess, and if you lose it’s mostly on you. I however disagree, and believe the skill level to be fairly low. Sometimes you get RNGed, and luck certainly is a large factor. I recommend using HSreplay to review your losses to look for things you could do differently.
If you’re not playing many hours a day, you’re doing it wrong. Obtaining legend is about investing massive amounts of time.
You don't have to invest that much time if you know what you're doing. You can easily make legend by playing less than an hour a day if you have a good winrate.
The difference between a 70% winrate and a 60% winrate can be as small as a single play out of 10 games. Once you let that sink in and really pay attention to each and every play that you make that should help to improve your winrate. While luck does play a considerable role in the game, over the long term your luck evens out and skill prevails.
i kinda feel the meta shifted a little or something? at least in legend secret mage is rather struggling atm tbh. people got used to play around stuff which was the "new" secret mages strength when it raised in popularity imho. guess that might be the same for rank 3.
also there are little meta pockets while laddering. try to have a control and a fast deck under your belt so you can switch accordingly.

not true. Its about winning. You can certainly hit legend on a consistent basis with about a 1-2 hour investment per day.
Its all about quality. You need to bring your A game every time you queue up, and not simply mash the play button because you think if you throw more time at it, you will get there. Saying its just a time investment is not accurate at all.

If you want to pump the game up have at it. It’s a time investment. Give an average player the time and a tier 1 deck and legend is easy. I like this game, but difficult it is not.
If you can get to 2, you can get to legend. Just keep playing and focus on making the best play in each game, each turn. Don't focus on the results. Remember that a huge part of winning is losing. The top ranked player in the game right now loses some percentage of the time. No one has a 100% winrate, so you will most certainly lose games. You'll lose games you're favored in, you'll win games you aren't favored in. That's just how it goes.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
If you can get to 2, you can hit legend. First time I hit legend it was an absolute grind. The best advice I can give (& it's probably the same advice you've been getting) is stick with the deck you are comfortable with and keep playing. You will hit highs & lows. I had an 11 game win streak all the way to the Boss Level at Rank 1, only to lose 7 straight back to rank 2. Just keep with it, & don't focus on whether you win or not, just focus on playing well. Make the best plays, learn from your mistakes. The wins/ranks/legend card back will come, I promise. If I can hit legend, you can!

Im not pumping the game. Im simply stating you dont need to play 5+ hours a day to hit legend. Skill granted, you can hit legend with little more investment than just getting your daily quests done in a month. The most important thing is that you keep a level head and bring your A game every time you hit the play button.
Also, no, the game isnt difficult from a mechanics perspective. However, it is difficult to be better than the opposing player. Just like driving a car is not difficult, but it is difficult to drive as well as a professional driver.
All of you lucky players make me sick. Almost 120 games this season at a 54% winrate, and I am 0-9 vs final boss. It is beyond bad luck at this point, it has to be something else. I am a veteran of the game and this is only the second time I've tried seriously to get legend, but I am beginning to feel the deck is stacked against me so to speak. I tried big priest with success, got to full stars, and proceeded to draw nothing playable while aggro runs roughshod over me. Switch to dude pally, get all weapons and the one equality, no early minions to play, no call to arms, get obliterated. Switch to spiteful, clunky hand two MC in opener, needless to say I have been rank 1 full stars 9 times, and all nine times I've lost. Also strangely I am like 3-15 vs dumpster legend players, those off meta decks seem to hit the jackpot vs me. I think Blizzard must have some kind of way they want to make it harder for first time players to hit legend.

Just play a Secret Mage or an Aggro Paladin and pretend you're good at the game like everyone else that used those decks to reach Legend. Those decks are literally 95% auto-pilot, no brain decks, you literally can't go wrong.
The issue with this strategy is it punishes people like me who are better than most ppl they play against, but much less lucky. Those braindead decks require luck, whereas a higher skillcap deck such as combo priest or big mage may net more wins due to skill.

yes blizzard specifically put a line into their code to make you less lucky than other players. also how is playing a removal as big mage every turn until 9 not braindead..? sigh.
