Ive been testing out a mid-rangy Paladin list, and though it has no problem smacking the Quest Mage deck in the face, it had the same issues most decks have against quest mage... dealing with 2, 3, 4 Ice Blocks.
With the popularity of Quest Mage decently high, and my frustration with the non-interactive style of the deck, I decided to tech Eater of Secrets, and now I just love to destroy their safety blanket for lethal :D
Guess I'm just making this post to say don't forget about Eater of Secrets as a tech choice, especially if Quest Mage remains decently popular.
You love the feeling of dropping that Eater of Secrets (SOme guy just top decked one against my Hemet Mage to beat me, the turn before I had lethal) and you giggle and laugh with delight... What you don't realize is how horrible the tech is against 90% of your other matches.
You gimp yourself mightily just to stick it to Mage. That's what's called "Cutting off your nose to spite your face."

Every Paladin runs 2 Hydrologists, and Mid Range hunter runs secrets some of the time. It gets value in a lot of matchups, and turns one from difficult to nearly a free win.

Hey, it's finally a valid tech choice!

Quest Mages are bad and dont need tech cards to win with them
eye for an eye and getting them to 1 health does the same exact thing. just play hydrologist *cough* a not bad card *cough*
