Regarding those changes to Classic Set going to wild beeing discussed, here's how i feel things should be done: A fresh core set every year.
I understand BB wants to new players to have access to cards right out the bat, and like to call the classic/basic sets the core set, but what if every year the core set changed?
What if, at the beggining of every year, they kept 50-60 cards of the basic/classic as the core set, and everything else went to wild? And then, at the beggining of the following year, they took out some (meta-defining / troublesome) cards from this core set and replaced them with other basic/classic cards?
Imagine if next year Arcanite Reaper wasn't part of the Core Set, and we actually got anti-aggro tools on early game, we'd manage to make Pirate Warrior a balanced deck without nerfs that'd send cards to oblivion for the rest of this game's existence. Small-Time Buccaneer, as though is the main issue in pirate decks, is a cool card for other archetypes, and with this change wouldn't be as troublesome in Warrior decks without the raw burst Arcanite provides, the same goes for some changes in Shaman's Core Set as well.
What you guys think? This way, nobody can feel cheated buying cards that will be useless (at least, not forever, the value is still there), and we can have actual meta changes on the start of every year.
