Shaman are in an interesting spot right now. The sheer power of Underbelly Angler & Hagatha the Witch in this new format means you can pretty much do all sorts of maybe suboptimal things like... Magic Carpet. This Hobgoblin 2.0 card has a the big advantage of being able to stick much easier on turns 2 or 3 making it a much less awkward early play. The big reason to play this card in Shaman is of course the new 1-drop Sludge Slurper which alone gives the carpets tons of fuel. Saronite Taskmaster helps protect your murlocs as a turn-1 play and can rush in with carpet later. The last two one drops, Murloc Tidecaller & Toxfin make for great torpedoes and can obviously "go off" at any point in the game because of Underbelly Angler. This deck runs a mech theme in the midgame with a couple "mechs" Coppertail Imposter & Hench-Clan Hag. Both these cards do well to set up either Zilliax or Wargear on turn-5. Eccentric Scribe on turn-6 really helps the deck stay wide to always threaten Bloodlust or The Storm Bringer. Walking Fountain is easily the best heal card Blizzard has given us since Zilliax and so the deck plays two to help grind out games along with Hagatha the Witch.
