That moment when you queue up against a non-odd aggro pally on wild ladder and they immediately start spamming you with Well Played (playing with Reno Dragon Priest), then you set up a two turn lethal due to Reno even after they got a 4 card Divine Skill into dude buff into later Quartermaster buff.
Funny how the BM spam stopped coming when I started barely turning the tides against them <3
On an 8-win streak using my beloved Odd Gonk Druid deck before it unfortunately is going to die as collateral damage to save the current meta.
It's a bloody shame this never caught on with anyone else, definitely the most fun I ever had playing Druid (especially after the nerfs let me include Wild Growth).
Got to love the people that want to stick with me during my Ice Cream Shaman games. This one's been going on for well over an hour and already at 6.3k armor. ;)
EDIT: Got to a 6.7k before they either left or were disconnected.
Nothing like playing some good old Ice Cream Shaman vs Jade Druid in casual. My druid opponent is committed too. Armor count is at 3.3k atm.
Let's see how deep the rabbit hole goes!
EDIT: Got to 5.8k before my opponent D/Ced or left
:D
Ended up facing the same druid I faced hours earlier that stuck around to help me stockpile rediculous amounts of armor. Faced them with Deathspeaker Geist Lock. Ended up sending a friend request and we had a nice chat. Turns out their game crashed when we got around that 5-6k mark. They had wanted to help me get to the 5 digit mark!
Played a Wild casual game as Weasel Priest against another Priest with unusual cards whose archetype, if he had one, I couldn’t figure out (common problem with Weasel Priest is you don’t always get to see all of your opponent’s cards!). After loading up his deck with weasels, I played Archbishop Benedictus with Bwonsandi and Spirit of the Dead in hand, ready to do it all again.
He seances my Archbishop the next turn! This could take a while...
Went back and forth for about a half hour, pinging each other’s copies of Obsidian Statue with weasels, each of us staying fully healed and drawing weasels for days. Extremely dumb use of time when I should be trying to hit my rank goals, but hilarious.
Reminds me of a game I had in wild where it was me (DMH warrior) vs Dragon Control Priest. They end up discovering two copies of DMH and eventually it turns into a near full-fledged mirror match of constant N'Zoths, DMHs, & Garroshs. Game ended in a tie lol.
Got an amazing above-average pull with the wild bundle. Out of 40 packs, 10 from each of the four in the bundle, I got 5 legendaries (one of which was in a double legendary pack), a golden epic, some golden rares, and about 1k dust worth of value (not including extra non-golden cards that I'll dust since I only care about keeping one of non-goldens once I have at least one golden copy). My legendaries in order of pulling them were Hobart, Beardo, Gormok & Justicar, and Iron Juggernaut. I didn't take pics of the Hobart or Beardo packs but I took screenshots of them in the collection.
Think I can be an unofficial sponsor for all rng pack related wild deals now ;P
Got to rank 5 again in more than a year (mostly due to laziness but also due to mostly maining slow decks). Got there with Even Shaman and don't feel bad in the slightest. It actually is a pretty fun deck and takes more thought to pilot well than most give credit for (such as the game where I felt one of my Reno Lock opponents might have had Godfrey so instead of being greedy and dealing 10 damage with a couple of my minions I instead took some trades to play around it since not playing around it would clear my entire board).
Another reason I don't feel bad laddering with Even Shaman is I got to CRUSH both the aggressive Kingsbane decks & Big Priest with roughly a 75-80% win rate against each. Nothing feels better than slaughtering decks that normally prey on control/otk decks. Feelsamazingman.
I think I just faced the first actual nice player piloting wild Kingsbane Rogue. I was playing the deck in my sig and was still fairly far away from winning the game (had 9 or more cards in my deck and still needed two combo pieces, one of which was valeera), but after dropping Thaurasan & Drakkari my rogue opponent actually stopped really trying to kill me. They made more than one share of non-optimal plays, some of which seemed obvious for no other reason than what I can assume was to see what kind of deck and/or combo I was playing.
I thanked them & they thanked me back & when I killed them with the combo I thanked them again, which I was honestly using to just thank them again since they could have easily won the game.
Glad to see there are still nice people out there playing the game & sometimes even for fun that is outside of winning.
DMH Warrior vs this weird Quest Control Dragon Deathrattle Priest (Yes it had all of these). The game has been grinding on for awhile and I'm dreading what cards the priest has copied from me (They had copied 5 cards before we even got to turn 10) and I was having flashbacks of other priests getting my N'Zoth multiple times.
Well turns out the priest got my Scorgelord Garrosh, and did indeed get my N'Zoth. The surprise that I just knew was coming was when I saw them use one of my Dead Man's Hands. I knew what kind of game this was going to be. So after many N'Zoths later, with many Garrosh cleaves from my opponent, too many dead dude's hands, and a couple of Amaras going up to full health we finally hit the turn limit and ended in a draw.
Honestly, once I got into the game I was purposefully trying to hit that turn timer. Sure, I didn't want to lose that way, but I was more excited about reaching that final turn. I had never played a game out that long before.
Hats off to you Ms/Mr Quest Control Deathrattle Dragon Priest, it was a good game indeed :)
Poor Even Shaman in casual who got beat twice in a row, once by my Reno Spectral Pillager Rogue and the second time by my Pony/Maly Lock. Guy rage quit at the end of the second game when he got me down to 2 health but couldn't kill me.
Also just beat a Togwaggle Druid with Pony/Maly Lock.
Where are those people who complain about tier decks in casual now? ;P
Played a priest in wild casual today. They were playing RNG Mage while I was playing Dragon Priest. I won and then queued up into them the very next game. They add me and we end up talking throughout the entire second match and even afterward too.
It made me feel good to have a fun friendly conversation with someone while we played. Their Yogg play was fun to watch too :D
So I was playing my post-nerf meme version of my Spectral Pillager deck when I found out the other day that the interaction of Sonya & Mechwarper was no again working as it was pre-nerf 3 months ago. I tested out the original version of my deck before the April 16th hotfix and to my great joy the interaction was producing 0 mana Scorp-o-matics again! Thank you Blizzard for fixing this interaction and restoring it to how it originally worked with this last patch! I am so happy that I get to play my better (albeit still meme) version of my original deck again :D
If you want a fun meme deck to play around with I recommend you try my deck now that Sonya works how it used to again. The deck is in the sig (shameless self-promotion). Hopefully my fellow meme deck Hearthpwners will get the same joy out of the deck that I used to, and can get once again!

Looks fun. I'll definitely have to try it.

Good games & good people

Mr. Warrior 55 health wasn't enough of a buffer to withstand my memey non-Malygos 58 burst damage as a rogue. ;)
Lol LOVE beating tryhards with meme decks. The salt is glorious.
