This minion can also be good against Sylvannas and counter pretty much any form of Priest mind control.
By any I assume you mean just Cabal? Because that's all it "counters" and even then by turn 6 they won't care anyway.
I alsoo thought about things like Midngames and Shadow Madness. You don't want to Shadow Madness this minion, because suiciding it would destroy your mana crystal, and mindgames would A) Put a minion on your board that is 2 mana less in value then the actual spell, and B) also likely destroy your mana crystal.

If there was a spell that said "(0) draw a card" then almost every deck would play it. Having a smaller deck is really good for most decks as it makes them more consistent.
LOL. I assume this is sarcasm.
Actually that statement is 100% true. A spell that costs 0 and draws a card would be played in almost every deck.
I see where you're going. But the problem I was originally referring to is that, in super-late-game, Wild Growth actual becomes 2 mana draw a card.
Is that worth running in a deck? Assuming most 2 mana draw effects have an extra effect, I'd argue.

Because it only draws one card in exchange or one card. That's just waste of a space. Arcane Intellect atleast draws 2, which maks it worth. Drawing one and not leaving a body is just waste of a spot.
So Wild Growth is a waste of a spot and River Crocolisk is a good late game play now LOL?
Seriously this thread has it all.
Let me explain my point.
If there was a card in the game that read: Draw a card and it was a spell, would it see play? No, because that just reduced your deck to 28 cards.
Playing Wild Growth in the beginning is good, because you gain the mana crystal, but becomes a waste of 2 mana and a card when you gt to 10 mana.
Meanwhile, Aspirant gives you a body, even if it's small. You're not getting great value, but you're not wasting a deckslot late game.
So a body for 2/3 is better then wasting a deckslot in the late game.

Also Wild Growth is a horrid late game card as no one would put a zero mana Card in their deck that simply said "Draw a different card".
How is a vanilla 2/3 better than drawing a card late game?

The best thing this card does is be early tempo and late game draw a card once you have 10 mana that is a good flexible 2 drop that Druid doesn't have.
Can someone ask to the developers whether this minion generates an Excess Mana?
Since you're never going to silence your own minion, this is actually.. a Crocolisk ? Not interested. Why play this card when I can play Wild growth ?
Because if your opponent can't deal with it on turn 2, you'll get to play a 4-drop on turn 3. Even if it gets killed the turn after, you already gained an advantage by getting to play a 4-drop on turn 3.
The dream: turn 2 this guy, turn 3 Savage Combatant, now your opponent can't coin his shredder.

Instead of trying to fight this battle, I'll just say this:
Wild and Darnassus both become worse late game. So talking about which is better late game seems illogical.

Trump said that it might be worth using 2 copies of this card in conjunction with Innervate and Wild Growth in order to ramp up more consistently.
