What do Americans have to do with the thread anyway?
Literally nothing. OP is just a jealous European troll who can't afford $10 for a hero portrait and has to shit on all content in the patch as an outlet for his immature rage.
It's okay OP, the American game company that allows your pathetic ass to play this game will still allow you to play.
I've spent $1500 on the game lmao, $10 is laughable.
Ummm no, spending $1500 on this game is laughable.

The duration of Brawls is too short to settle the meta and netdeck?! Really? It's 7 days. Decks to beat Naxx or BRM bosses were posted here after 7 minutes the wing was released. And brawls will be the same. So Amaz starts his stream, makes a deck for a Brawl and Bang! 2000 people are playing the same deck. But that's the nature of modern online gaming, so we can do nothing about it. I still really hope for a mode that has absolutely no rewards (even quests not doable) so all the "I want to play fun decks" went there.
Worst...comparison...ever :D
Beating an AI and Controlling the meta of ~10 Million Players has nothing to do with each other.
FYI the Basic Tools for zoo were in HS for months till someone made the deck. Yes brawl will have some netdecking. NO it wont effect the meta a lot cause you cant create dominating decks in 1 week.
another bad comparison, you're talking about when hearthstone was new and the mechanic basics were barely known.
Well, I'll guess we have to wait and see. I've noticed a lot of negative attitudes in this forum regarding things that doesn't even exist, in many different threads and topics. Let's discuss the "problem" when there actually is one. Why tavern brawl won't befun. Make it a question, don't start with a statement.
I'll admit the title was a bit attention whoring
Why can't you have fun against net decks?
Because playing the same deck every second opponent isn't fun nor stimulating, especially if people maximize value and create decks which stomp others.

Also, netdecks in casual work because people want gold, and to train with their netdecks. So why would be that appealing to create each week a deck wich you can't train enough to try to get it to legend (or to see if its playstyle fits you)? If you can netdeck for tavern brawl, why is it better than netdecking in casual? At the moment we know nothing about the rewards of this mode out of the launch event (except the dailies and 3 wins 10gold thing). So, at least as long as it is'nt more rewarding than casual mode, why would you netdeck a tavern brawl when you can surely netdeck something better and more solid in casual?
Time will tell, but at the moment I have a good feeling about this.
I guess it's almost going to be entirely determined by the rewards really, if brawl isn't offering anything on the plate, then people might just go back to casuals and whatnot, but I highly doubt after youtubers / streamers saying the rewards system is bad that they will released something just as poor as their current rewards system.
I think you are jumping to conclusions. We have no idea what the Brawl mode is going to be like so it's way too presumptuous to assume people even have the option of netdecking. For instance, if the deck is pre-built and randomly drafted (such as in the adventure class challenges or arena) then that alone would throw everything you're going on about out the window.
And honestly, I HOPE I am wrong, I love hearthstone, but, from the small amount of info I can piece together, I am attempting to voice my concerns as to the possibilities of what could potentially happen, I really do hope I'm wrong, the mode itself if implemented 'correctly' sounds amazing.
BUT ARKS IT TAKES AGES FOR THE META TO BE SETTLE, no it really doesn't making strong decks now that people are familiar with all the cards in the game will take 1-2 days of theory-crafting tops, thus will result in players using decks they find online.
You have to keep in mind that the current understanding of the card's effectiveness are based on the current rulesets that we have. If you add in some sort of new rule it is very likely that it will shake up the common notion of what card is actually good and with what. Therefore yes, the meta would still take a long time to settle. Very comparable to when Grim Patron decks were just starting to be made.
I agree, but I still feel like there won't be a massive learning curve when it comes to creating challenge decks, however I could very well be wrong.
i dont know what youre talking about, the people who truly want to have fun will build their own decks. Plus, we should wait for full details for it and find out.
Why add the mode in then, why don't people just truly have fun in ranked and casual? O WAIT IT'S BECAUSE NET DECKS DESTROY THEM AND IT'S NOT FUN.
Think of it as in the adventures. There are those who want to obtain full value for what they bought and play each boss multiple times, tweaking their decks and creating the best strategy to defeat it by themselves. Then there are those who want to go straight to the cards and netdeck the best strategies to beat the bosses the first time they play.
If you want to have fun and get the full experience in the Brawls, you'll create your own decks and figure out strategies on your own. If you just want the fast win, you'll search for the best decks on the internet EACH week. The amount of fun you get depends on how you play.
Besides, there is plenty of space for "fun, self-crafted decks" in ladder. Maybe not so much in the lowest ranks where people play the most popular decks to get the monthly card back and then get out, but the higher your rank is, the more variety you'll find (or at least that's what I see when I play).
If there are rewards or some sort of rank system most people will netdeck and there is nearly always going to be an 'optimal' deck, although yes there will be some people who go above and beyond and create very good decks, I fear netdecking will make it very stale however.
Laughable if you're a poor American maybe?

mad that I've brought up a valid argument? also this is real life, where people discuss things.
