One shouldn’t make such assumptions. I do play wild. I don’t expect it to be balanced. I’ve played other CCG’s and I’m telling you: it’s a fool’s errand to try and keep things balanced once you get past a certain number of cards.
Another thing: a one-time “meme” card can end up being a game-breaker in wild. Mecha’thun wasn’t meant to be a competitive win condition, nor was Time Warp meant to give players infinite turns.
Complaining that Wild is unbalanced is pointless. They have Standard which they try to keep balanced. There is no miraculous way to keep Wild balanced due to the huge number of cards.
