Card Design ChampionShadow of Demise will NOT return to your hand after you play it.
If you cast a spell, Shadow of Demise will turn into copy of that spell, and will remain transformed even if you end your turn.
When you play another spell, the Shadow of Demise will change again, into the new spell.
