There have always been easy-to-play legend-capable decks, a lot of players don't care about big brain plays and they need to be catered to as well.
And in my opinion there are plenty of difficult decks to choose from if you want a challenge. I got legend this time around with control Shaman, and it is not an easy deck to play.
But yes, card generation (in my opinion mainly card draw) is way too strong right now, which is compounded by how much inevitability exists. Too much draw should come at a tempo loss and a risk of running out of total deck value, but right now that almost never happens. Draw is so cheap that it's often better for tempo than not drawing, because you don't have to run high cost cards, and most decks have some inevitable win condition that ensures they win before fatigue.
