Overload Quest-- I'm at dumpster legend the opponents were all Diamond 2 or 3/dumpster legend or such
1. Shudderwock Shaman - blow out win
2. Overload Runespear Shaman (non-Quest) - crushed him
3. Mech Mage -- won on turn 7 after completing quest -- opponent conceded and I didn't get to go face with spells.
4. Control Warlock - Reno? Lost to Battlemaster and giant on turn after completing quest. Didn't get frog until late and drew mostly 3 cost spells I needed for after quest.
5. Pirate Rogue - Had a 4 mana Foe Reaper from Charged Call and proceded to kick the Rogue's arse super hard, but a top deck Mr. Smite made the game look close.
80% win rate against mostly Diamond is ok. That's a hell of a lot better wiin rate than my Shudderwock Shaman that would easily beat the Mech Mage but coin flip the others.
Not anymore. With Drek'thar nerfed the deck got significantly weaker I'd say
I'm not convinced. Drekthar sometimes pulled both Spirit of the Frog, creating a nightmare of too much draw.
Maybe I will play a few games of Overload Quest to see.
Still, I would say I'm not sure the deck is fun. I crafted Astara, played it once or twice, hated the single player feel of the deck and stopped playing it.
Open The Waygate is an annoying quest, but less annoying than Pirate Rogue. Now I am happy to see Quest Mage, and honestly the current form of this deck is far more fragile than the past because I don't seem to be losing to it often.
Mine Rogue to me is possibly the most toxic deck because you only have a few turns to counter such a quick combo.
is Making Mummies Quest any good in this meta? I know last year it had a resurgence for a short while, I don't recall why,
