People dont get why this deck is a problem. Its a problem because the game vs those priest are coinflips. There is not much thought of any kind going on in this matches. You win or you lose pretty early one. No matter what. Its a disgrace for a card game like HS. Its a waste of time and it is frustrating if you face one. You also dont really want to "tech" cards vs priest because how shitty this deck is and if you face another opponent its very likely that you lose then (if you draw your tech cards). Switcheroo is a trash card that needs to be changed to make facing priest less of a coinflip. Yes its not the reason why the meta is trash but it just adds to it.
I agree on all your points. However, HS does need to give priest deck alternatives, cause currently there are no decent Priest decks out there. Not even silence priest makes the cut.
Priest is one or two removal spells from being able to put together a few great decks. Hysteria hurt bad and there was very little removal this expansion, but lots of draw… hysteria, mass hysteria, dragon fire potion, something better than light bomb. Against all odds doesn’t work anymore and whirlpool is too expensive and can hit your own deck.
I have tried Switcheroo and let me tell you, it sucks. You need to draw Switcheroo before you draw any of the two minions. Even when you do, you need to hope for your opponent not to have any counters. If they do, you lose.
I only managed to get the trick done twice out of 10 games. There is no need for a change on Switcheroo.

I’m fine with that because it can’t kill you with anything else, it’s the deck’s only wincon. It’s a gimmick that loses constantly and people will stop playing it because it’s really weak.
As for this 'tech' people speak of, there is no way they leave 2 12-12s with rush in standard that early. Even the most common switcheroo nerf idea to only swap health will still feel crappy to play against with a bless follow-up. I doubt they want to encourage a tech meta when they are pushing so hard for tribal decks, their consistency suffers a lot more from having to run tech compared to a lot of other decks.

Having a deck that is 27 minions get steamrolled by a deck that has 2 minions is justice, add more removal and interaction and you will probably do much better against both of those decks. There are quite a few ways to get around the 12/12, but you should probably have answers to big minions in any deck as a rule of thumb.

And the shills suggest that every other player should run something that weakens their deck just in case they face priest while it weakens them against most other matchups. If priest plays switcheroo on 3, they aren’t playing the twin fin until 4, can’t hit you until 5. The highroll is no creatures drawn, illuminate on 1 to dredge switcheroo, switcheroo on 2 for free and then coin twin fin. That still gives you a chance to interact on turn 3.
Turn one: Illuminate switcheroo, draw it with tradeable, play it.
Turn two: coin fin twin
Turn three: bam!

The highroll is no creatures drawn, illuminate on 1 to dredge switcheroo, switcheroo on 2 for free and then coin twin fin. That still gives you a chance to interact on turn 3. This is also a huge pie in the sky requiring you to go second, not draw either of two cards, draw one specific card, and dredge a specific card.
