well considering Awakens doesn't hit your opponent's ysera it would make sense for the inteaction to be the same
on the neutral shadowstep...well I suppose double c'thun can be pretty brutal (which is another reason why I said...just bring it to 1 mana, or even 2, at least now it requires setup)
DISCLAIMER: I KNOW we're getting a dust refund, I KNOW we get the new ysera for free, I KNOW she'll very likely still be a good card, I am just unhappy about the way they handled the dream cards changes
I don't know about you but I hate the dream cards change,namely dream itself, for a very simple reason: I feel like that was an extremely unnecessary change. I agree that making her infinitely shadowstep herself is not good for the game (even though your turn would be "9 mana do nothing" ) and I can kind of see why they nerfed Nightmare and Awakens (although these were 2 good finishers) so I'm not upset about these ones BUT the Dream nerf is clunky, impractical and overkill, just keep it 0 mana and change the text to "return a Minion,exept Ysera, to its owner's hand" and...poof...not a problem anymore.
The only POTENTIAL problem would be in wild with shudderwok but still:
1) that combo would add 5 cards to your hand every time it's played....you would VERY likely run the risk of not getting dream because your hand is too full so I'm not even sure this would be a problem
2)even if their synergy were to end up breaking wild there are easy ways to nerf it like dream going to 2 mana or shudder going to 10 and dream going to 1 (both options with my suggested text change). And let's be real,aside from me (the only idiot playing a reno valuewok that summons only 1 shudder per game) no one would care about a 1 mana nerf on shudder.
As a sidenote IMO with decks like time warp mage,razanduin, shitfacetus, mill rogue and such being present it would be quite hypocritical to only nerf shuddersera
OG Ysera has always been one of my favourite cards...she's one of the first legendaries I ever crafted and I was super hyped to be able to play a version of her that kept the old ysera feel but got rid of the RNG AND was a stronger card overall but now.....I'm not even sure I'll try her out (if you counldn't tell my favourite dream card was dream..followed by awakens, then nighmare....)
One extra and unrelated thing:
when I did craft Ysera she was already quite bad, I started playing WAY later then when she was relevant but I was lowrank enough to be able to play her to some decent success...down there
