The most key cards are neutrals: Patches, Hungry Crab, Golakka Crawler, Mechwarper
Shaman has indeed many nice tools available, but I still find Hunter superior. The Hunter hero power is a better curve filler as games are mostly quite fast, Master's Call is an insanely strong card draw, Overwhelm can be a very solid cheap removal and Don't Feed the Animals (especially corrupted) is the nuts.

There are many classes with nice tribal synergies. Hunter has Shan'do Wildclaw and Don't Feed the Animals, Shaman has Thing from Below, Totemic Reflection and Grand Totem Eys'or, Warrior has pirate & menagerie stuff...I am excited to try this brawl
