Ugh, that sucks. I figured people may strategically tavern up and play for low damage rounds against friends, but didn't consider tipping opponent boards. What a lousy change to the game.
Because it's counterproductive. Ultimately you need to beat your friends as well. Decomposing your board just to beat a player outside of your group - what benefit do you have from it if you beat a player A, but lose to all your friends?
Played many games with my friends, I basically play only with someone and never alone and while we admittedly do share information during the games and adjust our positioning, I have never purposely made my board weaker against the entire party just to beat one player outside of the group.
Ran into multiple situations today where it seems some player collusion or sharing of information is going on, My normal 3.76 average position since the patch had been reduced to 5.17 and I obviously haven’t changed the way I play,
What exactly you mean apart from the fact that your average dropped? What evidence do you have to blame it on the fact that you were playing against a group?
