Forgot all about this lol. Last month I eventually made legend first time, this month I'm so barely have time I made d5 only a week ago, and that's with 10x stars. Now the climb has been rough and long, but I got some time.
Trying to answer at least most - I'm on EU, currently grinding mainly with Soul DH and Secret rogue, with some alternates for the sheer fun with mainly HL control shaman and galalock.
The thing is the star bonus, the climb feels So much slower even with one star bonus less, and the skill level for me is d5+, where best games and matchups are. The challenge there is tiring, that's it, and when you work every day, you look for easier time. I admit - not the best attitude, but for the non-competitive I have a bs alt-account. At legend itself, I don't care being 10k or 284k, the point is the climb after, to where I really feel challenged.
Either way, thanks all for the tips and ideas, and congrats to all you making or those already made legend.
I've been HS 'serious' ladder starting around February, and made d5 finally last month, and this month just the day before SA hit, and that was the easy part. Took me a while to figure out what I can and can't play with the SA cards I have ("shockingly" I didn't get the very best legendary), because crafting pally/warrior/mage/priest would cost me 4.8k or more dust and I'm holding from crafting due probable nerfs.
I've been playing mainly shaman, rogue, and hunter, I've had too many e.g. +7s (like a 10-3), just to drop back to d5, a few times down to no stars. Last few days I'm 2-2'ing or 3-3'ing nonstop, swinging endlessly between d3 and d4. I'm trying to just play the best game I can 'Now' not caring about rank, but I can't shake it. I ain't salty, and though a bit pissed at times, I'm just tired of not being able to make it.
Any tips would be welcome.
