I'll never get over how vitriolic people are towards those who spend money on this game. You do know the money spent on Hearthstone is the only reason the game continues to exist, yes?
In any case, I was in the habit of buying around 300 packs between the pre-orders and regular bundles because that is, give or take, what is required to get a full set plus a few choice golden crafts.
Over some of 2018 and all of 2019, I had some bad luck in the real world and couldn't afford to spend any money, so I made the rational decision to stop spending.
Now, things are back on track, I have more disposable income than ever before, and I love the lore of this year's sets so far, so I'll probably buy 400 or so and start working on full golden decks.
Enjoy the lifeblood infused into the game.
I don't get it either. Imagine how quick this game gets shuts down if everyone decided to go F2P? Thank goodness there are adults around to make sure the kids still ride free.
That being said, I make it a point to buy both the bundles. So I'm sitting at 140 packs. I never have any gold since I buy a pack or two a day from wins depending on how long I feel like playing. I never grind more than I want to.

Every time a F2P player chimes in about "spending money" that I make on a game that they leech off of.........
