I like Bob's Buddy because I love percentages. I've watched and played hours worth of the mode and enjoy seeing my chances and seeing the multiple different ways I could've drawn/loss are inspiration to improve.
It's the same idea as the Deck Tracker. I like seeing what's in my deck, shuffled cards can be difficult to track and I love the layer of complexity.
Guides can only do so much before they overlap. Experience is key in improvement. Also don't shun people for using it. It's a new toy people are experimenting with and proves those people have the will to "git gud".

Just remember that the tool is still in development so predictions may not be 100% accurate.
