To those saying Jaraxxus still wouldn't see play right now if they removed the interaction, you're right. I mean, it's hard to know for sure, metas are unpredictable, but I don't think controlock or Jaraxxus would make it in the current. Too slow against druid, murloc pally, and priest, the 15 cap sucks vs shaman, hunter, rogue, and holy wrath, and I'm not even sure it beats Dr. Boom. That being said, who cares? Stupid things are stupid and should be removed because they're stupid. No two cards, in any ccg, should have a relationship where if one is played in response to the other it wins the game instantly and without exceptions. That's idiotic, and it shouldn't be allowed to happen. Especially when the card on the receiving end is one of the coolest cards ever printed.
I like the idea, but I don't think getting rid of the interaction is the best way to go about it since it would be confusing for new players. Maybe just making it so zephyrus no longer offers sac pact, but I honestly don't think that is enough to make Jarraxus playable.
How would it be confusing to new players? Most new people probably dont even know about the interaction. If anything, it would make the card less confusing because then the interaction would match Mal'Ganis and Light's Champion. It's also not like morgl and mecha-jaraxxus die to tech cards. This interaction is the exception, not the rule.
I don't think that Zephyrs should lose sac pact because it ruins the whole "perfect card" aesthetic. He definitely shouldn't just ignore Jaraxxus. Even if it did he'd still give you sac pact for the internals, and then you could just target Jaraxxus instead. It would be much simpler to just not let the card target Jaraxxus.
As a side note, imagine being a new player, opening your first legendary, and playing it, only to autolose to an obscure interaction you couldn't have known about.
I'm not saying that Jaraxxus would be good, I just don't think he should be 9 mana, battlecry: lose the game.
I really like this interaction. It's cool, funny, and only impacts less than 1% of games where the guy is played. Or that's how it used to. The fact that Zephyrs, one of the most played cards in standard, literally just becomes "battlecry: win" against Jaraxxus is stupid. In my opinion, as long as Zephyrs is in standard this interaction should be removed. They can change it back once zephyrs rotates, but until then can we get a quality of life change for everyone's favorite ereader lord?
