Like there is no need to grind beyond rank 5 unless you are a try-hard "pro".
Or you are someone who plays Hearthstone because you enjoy playing Hearthstone and not because you want to earn free content.
Bro seriously learn the difference between "grind" and "playing for fun". Once you hit the rank 5 floor there is not need to "netdeck" and break an arm just to hit legend unless you are working for that goal and "e-sports pro" or whatever, otherwise I am saying you can play for FUN, got it now?
Sorry, but that is huge BS. To get full expansion you need to spend $450-500 on packs (135 virtual cards!). That is the equivalent of a new PS4 Pro! To get 4 full expansions per year, you have to spend $1800-2000. A normal game, with a budget usually exceeding $300 million, costs $60. Poor Blizzard indeed...
Care to explain your logic with these numbers! I am not F2P but I only order the pre-order and then spend 3k-4k gold that I collect between expansions (doing the 1 quest per day and playing for 1-2 hours max) and I get the full set almost, crafting what is missing with duplicates dust and keep in mind I don't DE Wild or Golden or useless cards, like I have tons of epics and legendaries that can yield me dust but I am a collector. So how exactly did you reach that number is beyond me. So if you are F2P you can't complain yes it is pay-2-win if you want ALL the cards, but with gold saved between exapnsions you can easily build two tier 1 decks, chip in 60-80 dollar for pre-order (240$ per year) and you should be SOLID from here. If you think 240$ dollars per year is a lot you can 1) get a job 2) quit the game and find something totally free like candy crush
Back to OP, the dust is not inflated as the cards value are the same, the thing is as someone mentioned there are more legendaries per class now and the power level of epics became very strong that you need them for meta decks. The post was about improving monthly chest DUST not about Blizzard being greedy, giving a minium of 40 dust (common card) and a maximum of 100 (rare card) + the cards is not unrealistic
While I don't agree with the inflation as dust values have remained the same ever since, I feel you in regards of the reward system being absolute BS. Like there is no need to grind beyond rank 5 unless you are a try-hard "pro". Just get your golden epic for the month and dust it if needed to craft an epic of your choice. They have to either tune the dust reward, I am against adding packs or gold as rewards in my opinion as we already have daily quests and tavern brawls for those freebies.
