Very difficult to balance, this card... It's a 6-mana card win against tempo/aggro. I think the best thing is to affect just the cards currently in each player's hands, rather than for the rest of the game. Even that is quite disruptive...
Well... it certainly shouldn't be 5 mana, for sure. It does absolutely nothing the turn you play it. I also don't really see any synergies with what Warlock has currently. What I'd like to see is it shuffled 10 imps only into *your* deck that summon themselves when drawn. That is certainly worth 3ish mana to play. (comparing to Faldorei Strider)
It is precisely that Patient Assassin costs 2 that this should cost 2, or be a 1 mana 1/1 Poisonous, Combo: Gain Stealth. You are paying half the cost of it. Plus, in its current state, it's way too good. 1 mana 1/4 is the premium amount of stats (equivalent to a 2/3) on a 2-mana minion. Then, it also has two upsides.
You always have to be mindful of existing cards when balancing. At 2 mana 1/3, it is in-line with both Gastropod and Patient Assassin, while being a little on the strong side to account for powercreep and it being a class card.
Can you maybe squeeze in: "Battlecry: Give your Treants +1/+1 and restore them to full Health" then make this minion a 3/5? Restoring Treants to full Health rarely matters due to their statline.
Hmmmm. Well before getting into the card text, that's a picture of an uncorrupted Kael'thas, a powerful mage. If you want to make a warlock card, try to find a corrupted version of him (there's loads) and change the card name. It doesn't make sense.
As for the effect... I think it's too cheap. +2/+2 to all your minions is absolutely insane on a turn 4. Then you'll be playing things like a 2 mana 3/5 (Voidwalker), 2 mana 3/3 Lackeys, etc.
Hmmmmmmm. Basically, 2 mana, give your minions perma-Stealth. And in a deck that uses this effect, the loss of armor doesn't even matter. Plus, you can just regain the armor later. I don't think this effect works well outside of the single-player content.
Excellent but a little on the strong side. I'd make it like Desperate Measures, adding a random 0-cost spell to your hand (so this isn't always an ez pick Silence or Topsy Turvy) Good art, good name, good effect. Make Nomi Priest great again.
Solid. Vashj *is* a Naga though, so she doesn't really have anything to do with snakes. (I mean yeah she has some in her hair, but they don't really do anything)
Also solid. If possible, I'd change the stat line a bit so it doesn't overlap with Waggle Pick. Maybe a 4 mana 3/3? You swing for less damage but you get 1 extra damage over Waggle Pick.
Hmmm. Well both have a few grammar mistakes in the card text, so be sure to proofread. I like the second card better, but I'd use this wording: "All effects and cards can only target this minion." (This includes spells, battlecries, minion attacks AND weapons)
Because this is a "mega-taunt", I'd give it a 4/7 statline. Would like more Health, but Attack isn't really an issue since it blocks everything.
Yeah, making it a druid card is definitely the right call here. I'd actually put this at 1 mana... maybe even as a 1/3 but I'd wait for more opinions before doing a 1 mana 1/3 with an upside. As we can see from Lucentbark druid, it is hard to restore health so that is where my justification comes from.
I like the second wording better. 7 mana 3/4 is more in-line with Lord Godfrey, who has a little bit more stats but will usually clear your own board too.
A solid value card. Could possibly see play in highlander mage. You could either do a spell, or simply a mage card. Both work fine, just depends how much variance you want.
Solid card. Great to get in the res pool. A bit low impact, though, the turn you play it. The current wording is fine, but to be more consistent with the rest of Hearthstone's cards, I'd use: "Whenever a minion is played, Silence it."
I'd also advise getting better art if you have time, the current one is blurry. I couldn't find the exact image but there is a surprising amount of tol'vir art out there.
Way too strong. Vilespine was a 5 mana 3/4 with a conditional assassinate. That card was already OP. This is a 7 mana that can destroy 2 minion very reliably, with a 5/5 body.
Congratulations once again to MrBurger for winning WCDC 10.1. He gave us mods a few choices and we settled on:
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
You must make a card that has only 2 lines or less of text.
Bonus points if you use Sethrak or snake art.
We're also adding this extra rule, as most tokens invalidate the spirit of this week's competition:
You entry cannot generate tokens with text. (So something like Silver Hand Recruit is ok.) This includes making a Hero Card that would change your Hero Power.
That's it for the restrictions this week! Really short (literally, and design-wise) so the examples given are just some unique two-liner cards: Splitting Axe, Mayor Noggenfogger, Void Contract
Below is a list of all the deadlines for this contest:
Preview Phase (August 24, 2019 [10:00 PM CST] - August 25, 2019 [10:00 PM CST]) The Discussion Topic is made available, previewing this week's competition theme. Discussion Topic Rules
To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?
Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your entry? Do you need help finding art that will fit your card? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per week, so make sure that you've settled on your card for sure beforehand.
Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's entries? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? Would you like to help others and contribute to a greater community understanding of Hearthstone card design and balance? This is where you want to be!
All of that said, please refrain from the following:
Posting TONS of Ideas. Discussion topics become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time. Any more than that and we'll have to delete your post.
Advertising Your Entry. As a rule of thumb, please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is interesting?". Yes, getting feedback on your entry is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other.
Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.

Interesting alternative to Vulpera. Just be sure to fix that grammatical error before submitting.
3 mana 4/5 is fine, to match with Neferset Thrasher. Should also read "At the start of your turn, Overload: (1)."
I mean... I guess it works...

*Essentially* its a Frost Nova but also stops chargers. 4/4 is 3.5 mana's worth of stats, while this effect is 3 mana from Frost Nova.
It's also a Neutral Legendary. I'd make the stats either 3/4 or 4/3, but otherwise this card works well.
Submission Thread has been unlocked. Sorry for the delay.
Ooook here we go.
Guys just a reminder this is the discussion thread, not the feedback-seeking thread. Try to give feedback as well as ask for it.
Hmmm 3/7 is a rather underwhelming statline for this sort of effect. I think you could get away with 4/7. Effect itself is solid.
Can you maybe squeeze in: "Battlecry: Give your Treants +1/+1 and restore them to full Health" then make this minion a 3/5? Restoring Treants to full Health rarely matters due to their statline.
Very one-sided, swingy, and polarizing card. I don't think a game should be decided on 6 mana.
Hmmmm. Well before getting into the card text, that's a picture of an uncorrupted Kael'thas, a powerful mage. If you want to make a warlock card, try to find a corrupted version of him (there's loads) and change the card name. It doesn't make sense.

Verrrrrry interesting. This effect should definitely be on a legendary but other than that, this one's pretty neat.
Solid. Vashj *is* a Naga though, so she doesn't really have anything to do with snakes. (I mean yeah she has some in her hair, but they don't really do anything)

Nice! Should definitely be 2 mana though. If you want this at 1 mana, it should be a 1/1 minion.
Could honestly be a 5/4. It is quite similar to Embalming Ritual though. Don't forget to put a space after "Battlecry:"
Yeah, making it a druid card is definitely the right call here. I'd actually put this at 1 mana... maybe even as a 1/3 but I'd wait for more opinions before doing a 1 mana 1/3 with an upside. Nice photoshop, btw.
As a deathrattle, this makes this rather slow but necessary, I think, compared to void contract. It's also a strong option against bomb warrior.
I like the second wording better. 7 mana 3/4 is more in-line with Lord Godfrey, who has a little bit more stats but will usually clear your own board too.
