just played a game with Dogs Mecha’thun shaman. Was already completely through my deck, but had a brew left in my hand beside my combo. I played it once, played the combo and....nuttin. Just lost as I was left without anything, after my mechathun just dissolved.
It didn’t trigger, because I had “a card” left in my hand. I do understand that they did not want to make another echo card, whatever. But with the card sayin “repeatable this turn” this just does not seem fair to me. It explicitly doee not state “put a card back into your hand” or something like this and imo this is just not communicated as it should be.
What do you guys think about it? Did it happen to you as well? This control warrior I have had some fun I guess...
An excellent illustration of why the keyword is better than what they wrote. You had no way of knowing this would act like the keyword, and the wording of the card itself can never explain in enough detail what's going to happen.
(Then again, I'm not sure how you would expect to be able to "repeat it this turn" if it doesn't return a temporary card to your hand.)
But that's not really an argument for using the Echo keyword, as it would work the same either way.
What DOES support the argument is that if you already know Echo cards work this way, you'd know what to expect if they used the same keyword here.

Do they not realize that its actually more confusing to STOP using a keyword we're all used to than to get a newbie up to speed with a tooltip?
