This reminds me of folk losing their minds over Floop.
I still lose my mind over the fact that the community didn't figure out a deck for Floop. The natural synergy with taunt druid was insane. Hadronox, Lich king, CUBE.
I just don't get it and while I have gotten a golden Floop in packs, druid was always my least favorite class and didn't really experiment at all with Floop, literally one game I think I played with a Floop deck. But I remember flooping a Hadronox and feeling super good about it.
Some people seem to think this card is bad because the treasure are only good in specific situations that you can't often control.
Well, you are incorrect. The treasure are straight up OP cards that will generate more tempo or value for its cost than most OP cards in the game. They don't need to be supported by a combo deck or some broken togwaggle scheme combo. Especially since you get to chose which treasure you want to use.
The only way for this card to be bad, is that pirate warrior meta comes back and people die on turn 5. Otherwise rogue can get to Vanish turn into Togwaggle turn into Treasure turn and start to out value you from this point.
So this card is :
Decent against aggro, 7 mana 5/5 + lackey isn't the end of the world.
Ridiculously strong against other archetypes.
People need to understand that many good cards come from the fact that they need very little deck building restriction in exchange for a strong effect. Think about quest warrior + stonehill + echo taunt. That's 5 cards for a ragnaros hero power. Togwaggle literally needs ONE lackey in the deck that only serves the purpose of comboing with togwaggle. This is the strength of this card. You pay 2 cards in your deck in exchange for Treasure. Now just build a strong tier 1 rogue deck and add this 2 cards combo. GG, you have a stronger deck. Just like Odd warrior added a couple taunts and a quest and got stronger.
Edit : I don't think this is worthy of a Nerf. Yes it's strong, easy to set up and can win games. That's fine. It's still attached to a 2 cards combo and 7 mana cost. It's not just play the card win the game.
They didn't nerf DK rexxar and DK gul'dan, they are not going to nerf this lol.
So blizzard, let me get this straight, made a Marin the fox, that cost 6 mana had no treasure box that you had to destroy, with literally the easiest requirement in the world?
I love this card so much right now. Makes me want to grind my last 150 rogue games again.
But I probably won't love it anymore when it's played against me every day.
It's good to see the treasure tokens on a playable card anyway, will be a ton of fun in the first few weeks before it grows into cancer. Can't wait to see what monstrosity come out of it in Wild.

And you get to chose the treasure unlike Marin.
