My final try. I think I will finally submit this after possible balance changes.
I think the difference here is quite obvious: while the Paladin weapon is self-sufficient, the Succubus requires damaging cards to work.
Weapon is probably broken. Imagine you almost have an opponent paladin in a losing situation with an 8/8 on the board. Then he just hits the minion and heals himself for 8 as an example. I think it's a good idea, just a weapon might be too much.
I was spinning around some ideas and was wondering if you guys think this idea is interesting enough to use. Basically for a priest this is a premium Injured Blademaster with a taunt but for a warlock, it is more interesting. Warlock will need to summon the demon on the board some specific ways to not trigger its battlecry or buff it in their hand before playing it. Do you think this idea is interesting enough or is it just another boring self damage trick?
I don't think the warlock card would work. If it's a buffing zoo type odds are you are top decking and won't get to buff this thing anyhow. Or even if it does get buffed it loses 90% of its hp and then trades with a 1 drop or hero power. As for priest, eh I dunno, the last thing that damn class needs is another inner fire enabler that also craps on other priest.
@wailor I like the idea, I think the drawback is pretty harsh though. Maybe if it was every time this attacks you remove the top card from your deck. Not sure how it would get worded on the weapon though.
@gervez0512 Good idea, the mage minion is probably overstatted with the spell damage + attached. Cosmic Anomaly is 4 mana 4/3 with +2 for the example
@linkblade really like this idea, the cost of the minion is what makes it utterly broken in priest tho. Imagine dropping this and Northshire Cleric and then drawing up to 5-8 cards with just your hero power. Personally have never been a huge fan of draw engine cards.
@wailor To me this is the best one so far, not really an issue with it stat wise, warriors synergy with Deadly Arsenal but if you play warrior it's not practical to just dump your weapon for a shuffle for the sake of shuffling so there is thinking involved on when to do it. Also tied to the minion itself so once it dies it's gone. Big fan of the warrior one. And yep rogue works very well with Cavern Shinyfinder . I'd keep them as is. For the Tiny Spy, I kept him off center or else you wouldn't see him overhearing the ogres at the table. Thought of keeping it in Witchwood just so rogues could keep the secrets usable only through this means since they were hardly used this year at all in standard.
@zelpha Is the first one Mage? If it's shaman it has to be two different classes. That aside I don't like the weapon on a Mage for 1 mana especially just to get a random spell. If that is the route you want to take I'd mix the Priest and Rogue class since they both utilize this mechanic and have supplemental cards for it.
Also, how do you minimize a quote so I can save up space for future feedback? Thanks in advance.
