mtc wont go anywhere only deck defining and slot constraining cards go to HoF, ice block, Ice lance, molten giant and oracle went to HoF because as long as they existed freeze mage would always exist in standard with little variation and they were afraind no one would try to play quest mage if there was the possibility of just playing Freeze mage, as for giant they stated that they were bored of seeing handlock and that it was a deck that would stay in standard forever as long as molten giant stayed in standard.
while Sylvannas and Rag went to Hof ebcause when they built decks during playtesting and tried to add an 8 or a 6 drp, those two would lalways come up on top of all of the other contenders, so it was either power creep those slots or sending both to HoF.
MTC isn't neither deck defining nor slot constraining, there's no MTC mage and there's plenty of 3 drops many decks would run over him, and he can be super easily played around.
Moderators, please give to op the achievement of dumbest post on the site ever.
I assure you, this one doesn't even crack the top 10.
well it isn't a stupid post, because blizz named a banlist as "hall of fame" instead of "banlist" it was a matter of time someone got confused and people won't ever crack the top 180-200 stupid posts because the top 180-200 stupid posts are all occupied by the first 29 pages of this thread.
first of all only cards that form part of an evergreen set can be sent to the hall of fame, but i can see why you'd get confused with the name they gave to what's effectively an official ban list
the only reasonable candidates are Malygos and Doomguard, when blizzard Hof'd Molten Giant they willingly admitted that it was because they were bored of watching handlock matches in tournament play since the dawn of time and they wanted lock to have new decks, well doomguard and maly have been deck finishers forever, so they might have gotten bored of them as well
runner up is Preparation which they willingly admitted constrains rogue design space and well you seriously know that shit hit the fan when even the rogue mains are telling blizzard to hall of fame the card.
