Voidlord is a strong but balanced card on its own, it's also fine for its effect and stats to just be an Epic so you can have 2 in the deck. The issue actually are all the way to cheat it onto the board way before its 9 mana cost, that make it seems unfair/overpowered.
Cheating big minions into play too much before their right turn is something that is spreading in HS and imho it's not a good design choice, nor for Standard neither for Wild (in the long run).
