Madame Lazul looks to be better than tier 5. Due to the changes in the priest class, more people are trying highlander and non-res based priests and the card finds its way into some of them. At the very worst, tier 4, I'd say.
Hello everyone. I'm here to ask you a huge favor. I'm about to craft my first competitive deck and I want do ask you what deck in your opinion is the best to craft with this in consideration: 1. Good deck with low dust cost (good enough to get legend). 2. Fun to play. 3. Possibly will still be playable in the next rotation (don't will lose so much core cards) (not so important too, 6 months is a long time). I have Baku and Guldan. So I was thinking about Even Warlock (need Lich King and Genn but both are great cards to craft). Odd Rogue (need Leeroy and that legendary spell). So, that's it, any opinion will be very apreciated. Thanks in advance.
Odd rogue can cut Myra's Unstable Element. Card is good, but not crucial. Leeroy "can" be replaced with Reckless Rocketeer as well, but is a worthwhile craft that finds its way into many aggressive decks.
Evenlock is pretty good, and both those cards are craft worthy, but Lich rotates, so mind that. I'd go for odd rogue and only craft Leeroy.
I've been seeing a resurgence of Thrall, Deathseer recently being run in decks that include The Storm Bringer. I'm assuming it's because it's such a minion heavy deck that it's better to upgrade a full board at turn 5 rather than risk waiting to play the spell and your opponent draws a board clear.
Pretty sure that this little bit of play isn't enough to see an upgrade, but the card is definitely seeing a bit more play.
Also I definitely agree that no card can really be called a Staple yet, but if I had to throw my hat into the ring on which will, i'll definitely say Zilliax. It sees play in so many decks and each of them flourish in their own ways. Probably one of, if not, the best legendaries they've put out this expansion.
Thx. Thrall, Deathseer is moved from tier 4 to 2, as he indeed sees a lot more play now.
Zilliax finally goes to tier 1, mainly for his versatility, being playable in a large number of decent decks for several classes.
Pretty sure Thrall is from KFT, not ungoro, where it is now listed :)
Yeah, I'm pleasantly suprised at the new hybrid shaman that combines various archetype mechanics such as elementals, battlecries, and evolve. It's a blast to be able to play thrall on ladder, and end off with shudderwock to create a wide, buffed, and evolved board. No one saves removal for it.
I find it a little odd that dragoncaller Alanna is tier two but sindragosa is tier three. Sindragosa provides value and water elemental generation, while Alanna is fingers-crossed late game win condition that you wouldn't need against aggro because it's too slow and you would have already stabilized if you can afford to play it, and useless against control decks since they almost certainly have removal for it by that late stage of the game.
I propose that Sindragosa be bumped to tier two OR Alanna be demoted to tier three OR both. It feels wrong seeing Sindragosa in the same tier as Black Knight, which, although is an evergreen tech, is not seen anywhere now whereas sindragosa is in at least half of BSM decks.
Stats-wise, Alanna only sees 0.4% more play and has only a 0.2% higher winrate according to hsreplay right now. To me, this is marginal enough to mean they should be in the same tier.
Please get rid of those abysmal poems and replace them with something that actually clarifies the parameters of the tiers
They are clearly listed as staples, tech, playable, niche, and garbage right next to the tier numbers. I don't know if you want an equation or something that delineates exactly how tiers are seperated, because that doesn't exist. The list is subjective and evolving from community consensus based on the aforementioend labels.
The poems are fun and whimsical, don't be a downer.
It's not even worth discovering via Servant of Kalimos, let alone actually put into a deck. Far too slow, does too little, too easy to remove. The health buff is usually not that much, and it can usually still be removed easily through Siphon Soul, Meteor, Sap, Execute, and many more removal cards. The only decks that wouldn't be able to remove it are typically early game aggro decks, and then Ozruk is simply too little too late. Stuff like Sunkeeper Tarim, Equality, and Vilespine Slayer can still remove it anyway.
No problem. I vote tier 1, and the hsreplay data does show a good deck winrate, but maybe that's just on the back of even shaman.
Also, I just want to express my appreciation for the work and thought you put into this list. People will whine if they see something they don't agree with, but far less will acknowledge the overwhelming amount of it that is unamimously "correct." I've used this list for a while, and I keep coming back to it when I have dust, alongside other sources like hsreplay.
I think Hagatha the Witch should be in Tier 2, she's more solid in Even Shaman than Kalimos, and can be put in any Shaman deck unlike Kalimos. Plus, against slow decks she's your win condition.
I agree with this, it's only due to this card that even shaman stands a good chance against other control decks, and no refined version of even shaman would not run hagatha. Imo, if even shaman is tier 1, hagatha belongs there too as a centrepiece of even shaman. If not tier 3, then at least tier 2. I mean, in the same tier as splintergraft? That feels off.
Btw, by splintergraft, interesting is mispelled as interresing :p
Quick question: I would like to craft Nzoth to add to my Control Warlock and potentially make Control Mage; moreover I would also like to craft Rin and I only have dust for one of them; which one would be the better craft? I am starting to play in Wild so I dont really mind the rotation. Thanks!
N'Zoth, the Corruptor fits in more decks, and is tier 1 in wild. Rin, the First Disciple is really good in pretty much only control warlock, and isn't really seen in wild. To make a really good control warlock though, you'd need both. But since you can only dust one, I'd go with N'Zoth, the Corruptor.
You can dust it safely, Onxyia is so outclassed by other standard legendaries that there is basically a zero chance that any new meta will see it become used. Even though dusting it means you may pull it again, if this particular one is golden, then it's a "choose a free legendary," which is stupid not to trade in because you're scared to pull another one. The payoff is greater if you simply dust it for a legendary you know want and will use.
For the people who say wait for the new meta, they have a point. You are better off saving the dust for the new meta. So my advice is to feel free to dust it, but don't use the dust until the next expansion and rotation.
If he shouldn't use the dust until the rotation, what would be the point in dusting it now? If he keeps it he can still play around with it and decide if he likes it up until the rotation hits.
You're right, it's just that if it were me, I know I would never play it since it's not a particularly unique or powerful, so I would just dust it anyway. My general advice is basically to feel free to dust it, and if you do, save the dust. But indeed while you have it, might as well play around with it until the dust is useful.

Anyone found a good use for Dollmaster Dorian? I can only think of quest priest and deathrattle rogue with eggs (that sounds super fun actually, brb)
Take a look at the meta report by VS. Taunt druid is really good in legend.

“Loremaster cho - meme card, needed for the longest hearthstone turn ever”
I think that title should be passed to the new champ of ungodly long turns, MY JAWS THAT BITE, MY CLAWS THAT CATCH
