Evenlock is probably the most well rounded deck to ladder with. That's not only my opinion, but check the meta reports and they can tell you that too. BUT, no one can guarantee that it's going to be playable next expansion :P Look at Taunt Druid... Tier 1 pretty much all of Witchwood and now it's pretty rare.
I'm pretty new to the game, so my collection is fairly lean atm.
I really want to craft Zilliax. I've got 400 dust atm.
I've got harbinger celestia which seems like an awful card to me, and am considering dusting it to help me along.
Good call? Bad call?
Hey man... honestly... Zilliax is a cool card to own and sees some play... BUT if you are a new player there are much better legendaries for you to craft. Not to mention that the powerful epic cards are more useful if you are starting out. Just my advice. Also don't dust Celestia for now.
Find a cheap meta deck you want to play and work on crafting it. Check the www.vicioussyndicate.com latest meta report and see what cheap decks are performing well and work towards building a solid deck.
In favor of Twig: I have the rest of the deck and Druid is one of the classes I main.
In favor of Baron: it's evergreen, my other main classes are Mage and Warrior and I have most of big spells mage (need alanna and the second keysmith); I play a variation of questless quest mage.
Thanks!
Just my Opinion...
But both are good crafts for their respective decks RIGHT NOW, but with an expansion in like two weeks, twig may become obsolete with Floop potentially becoming the new combo enabler.
Baron Geddon is a classic card and I have no doubts it will pop in and out of the meta from time to time. So he is probably a safe craft.
I would definitely wait on Twig though. Maly druid is really fun and a great deck. Probably one of my personal favourites right now. But for this one definitely wait until after the Boomsday meta settles.
Master Oakhart is a definitely a staple in Taunt Druid... You won't find a pro list without it... sure you can cut it.. you can cut any card from any deck, but the consistency and power level is going to go way down
I opened a golden Open the Waygate ... Honestly not really in need of the dust and definitely not interested in Exodia (I despise the deck)... any thoughts on future viability or cool wild decks that use it? I wouldn't mind trading it for Awaken the Makers.
So I have 5,300 dust to play around with at the moment (thank you nerfs and mammoth pack) on top of the dust I already had saved for the upcoming rotation (so no worries there. Can spend the 5,300 now). I play all formats so trying to decide the best use of the new dust.
For Wild:
Raza (just DE'd) - Think I'll hold and see how things shake out.
Mal'Ganis - Have everything else needed for Wild Cubelock and seems like he will always be relevant
Awaken the Makers - strong quest and I have all the other priest staples
For Std:
Hunter or Warrior DK? have all the others... leaning Hunter of the two.
Aluneth for Mage decks - Seems like it would always be relevant and I have all the mage epics etc (not quest but it's not used much now)
Kelseth - Always strong effect but will he fit in aggro decks as much now? Too early to tell but still not a bad craft I would think.
Rin for control warlock? Seems strong but not needed? (note i have oakheart and other staples for this type of deck)
Sonya - another solid legendary
2x vilespine slayer - Just a strong card I missed on.
2x Twilight Acolyte - only card I'm missing from current dragon priest lists. How needed are they?
2x Call to Arms and 2x Unidentified Maul (crazy since I opened 100 KaC packs) for Paladin decks (noting I am missing Valanyr and many murloc epics)
2nd Faldori Strider - love playing mill rogue but not exactly competitive and this has been seeing less play anyway?
2nd unstable evolution - fun card but leaning no even though i have all the other evolve shaman stuff
My current inclination is definitely Aluneth and Mal'Ganis as it feels like they will always be relevant even as meta shifts... which leaves me 2,100 dust... so load up on the epics? 2x call to arms, vilespine, and twilight? Little over budget but I'm okay with that... Or do I just grab another solid legendary (likely Rexar or Kelseth)
Thanks for any input!
If you haven't made the decision yet... Mal'Ganis is a must have for cubelock in wild. If you like Renolock he works in there too. Solid craft if you don't care that it's wild only. With the meta shaken up after the nerfs thats the only really safe craft of the legendaries you listed IMO
Good choice... Tarim is one of the safest crafts in the game right now...
As for Cairne... He will likely pop in and out of the meta... he's a strong sticky minion and good vs priest. Safe craft because he's classic, but he's definitely more of a tech legendary right now... if you don't have Tirion, I'd go for Tirion over Cairne 100%
As of right now I really appreciate all the help I have gotten. To help narrow it down I am looking for a legendary to craft to help me reach a higher rank this season. Again if you could look at my collection to narrow that down I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!
If all you care about is winning and getting ranks then craft Velen and play Razakus priest. He is almost essential to the deck. The deck is still really strong (some say tier 1 others say top tier 2). The deck is hard to play (but really fun) and your games will be long so if you use it exclusively to rank it will be slow. There are plenty of rank 1 legend lists around even from this Season.
Hello, I come to this thread today to figure out what legendary I should craft next. I play most classes so really anything is good with me. I have a lot of legendaries and if you need to you can look at my collection to determine what I should craft (It should be up to date).
I have 2730 dust so I kinda wanna get something that I'll use.
Thanks to anyone that helps!
The most important question is... what decks do you want to play? Velen would be great for Razakus... it looks like you have the rest of the cards... N'Zoth is rotating, but its Tier 1 in wild... The Darkness isn't seeing play right now and seems to be not that great... Malfurion is a staple in any midrange or control Druid. Cairne and Deathwing are both classic but niche. Cairne was seeing alot of play last xpac because of priest and may continue to see play this xpac. Just my thoughts :) ... Deathstalker Rexxar is really fun too... and I can't speak for Rhok'Delar but people seem to be loving it (but you need DS Rexxar in addition i think)
I'd say don't do it, unless you really have a deck you NEED to play and you really need dust... these still might see play in the future and you might regret it. Plus you might open them again...
Hello there! I always loved Priest decks, but last expansion I wasn't able to try the Highlander because I was missing so many cards. Now I'm missing Raza, and I know he is rotating out soon, but I think it'll be fun at least to give it a try. So do you think is it worth to craft Raza for a few months until he goes to Wild? Is Raza Priest still a thing this expansion?
Razakus priest is REALLY strong in wild... I'd say go for it... It's just dust after all... and it is essential to an archetype you want to play :) and for the moment Razakus is still strong in standard if you like Highlander and you like priest then definitely go for it

Just my opinion on the cards you listed...
Of the Classics Tirion Fordring, Bloodmage Thalnos, and Cairne Bloodhoof will give you the most play
If you play Paladin Sunkeeper Tarim is a MUST
Prince Keleseth is VERY strong, BUT i would wait till after rotation to see how he performs without patches
and Just for fun... I crafted Deathstalker Rexxar and have never looked back... too much fun there
