I played some games, and my second-to-last game had 4 exceptions thrown. I don't think they did anything, but they were the only ones thrown in my session. I was playing Discolock.
Second, in the general settings, there is a new drop-down labeled "Match History and Game Stats". While I am excited to see what comes of this, I do have a few questions about the drop-down options and the option in general.
The first option is labeled "Standard Match Data" while the second is "Help collect Game & Match Data Anonymously".
Does this mean that anonymous data collection also gathers wild match data?
Why the specification of Game and Match data in the second option, while the first only specifies Match data?
Do the two options work differently?
If not, I would recommend wording them similarly.
Both of these stem from the wording of the options leaving the results open to interpretation. Fixing the wording will lessen the confusion in the future and refrain from misguided expectations.
Will the personal match history be in-client or on Hearthpwn?
If the history will be in-client, would not the better options be "Opt into Standard history and meta game data collection", "Opt in to Standard history", and "Opt out of data collection"?
I am making the assumption that people would rather be able to see their match history then send it without getting anything in return.
If one would select the second option, this would only give them a general winrate vs each class for the deck.
If the first (default) option was selected, it would allow them to see a more detailed history. More data, more content.
If the history is on Hearthpwn, I think the options should only be limited to "Opt in" or "Opt out".
This is the same assumption as before, but as the data is already being sent to Hearthpwn, why not send it all?
The deck history should be private as default but be allowed to be set to public.
I would think this would allow the deck history and statistics to be tweaked as it goes, rather than requiring a client update each time you dive a little deeper.
Again, I am excited for what is to come. I just wanted to ask some questions and give some suggestions.
Finally, I noticed the bug caused by turning on the logger while Hearthstone was running has been fixed. But the text displayed is a bit misleading. It specified that you only had to restart Hearthstone once, and afterwards there would be no problems. While this is true that there would be no problems as long as you keep the logger on/off while Hearthstone is active, if you toggle it on again (with HS active), the same prompt would appear. This would lead to confusion as the first prompt said that you would only have to restart Hearthstone that one time. I would suggest changing the text for clarification by either:
Removing the specification that you will only have to restart Hearthstone once and all will be well after.
Changing that text to say that Hearthstone will always need to be restarted after turning on logging whilst active.
I would recommend the first one, as it would be simpler and lead to less confusion. (since beta testers aren't as weird and do things repeatedly)

Second, in the general settings, there is a new drop-down labeled "Match History and Game Stats". While I am excited to see what comes of this, I do have a few questions about the drop-down options and the option in general.
The first option is labeled "Standard Match Data" while the second is "Help collect Game & Match Data Anonymously".
Both of these stem from the wording of the options leaving the results open to interpretation. Fixing the wording will lessen the confusion in the future and refrain from misguided expectations.
Again, I am excited for what is to come. I just wanted to ask some questions and give some suggestions.
Finally, I noticed the bug caused by turning on the logger while Hearthstone was running has been fixed. But the text displayed is a bit misleading. It specified that you only had to restart Hearthstone once, and afterwards there would be no problems. While this is true that there would be no problems as long as you keep the logger on/off while Hearthstone is active, if you toggle it on again (with HS active), the same prompt would appear. This would lead to confusion as the first prompt said that you would only have to restart Hearthstone that one time. I would suggest changing the text for clarification by either:
I would recommend the first one, as it would be simpler and lead to less confusion. (since beta testers aren't as weird and do things repeatedly)
