Rogues hero power isn't broken, it works well enough for the class. However I do find it rather restrictive in terms of play style. So I was thinking that what rogues need is a card similar to Vilefin Inqisitor that changes it. Rogue has always been my favorite class and I would love to see more types of decks open to them. Let's brainstorm some ideas on how to change it up.
Recouperate: 2 mana. Your hero power becomes 'Restore 3 life to your hero.' If already recouperating: 4 life.
This allows for more control rogue. The higher than priest life gain is offset because it can't interact with the board state. What are your ideas to swap around rogue hero powers?
It's probably not strong enough, but I'd like to see something like 2 mana: put a coin into your hand. That would combo well with a lot of Rogue cards and be an interesting way for a Rogue to benefit from multiple hero powers instead of how annoying the power is now, where you can't do anything once you've daggered up. Most people would probably scoff at the idea of pay 2 mana to get 1 in the future, but I can see it having considerable value in a control archetype, and it's much more consistent with Rogue fluff than the power you've suggested.
The extra coin would definitely be good. A card like that would make cards like Kidnapper viable. Coins aren't just mana acceleration in rogue, it's also combo enablers. Would also make a "Handlock" sort of rogue deck viable since you will constantly have a fairly full hand.
My original idea for the Recouperate was restore 4 life, then 5 but I figured it was too OP'd.
Something nice for Rogues could : 2 Mana: Give your Weapon +3 Attack and +1 Durability. It'd help Rogues use other weapons more since right now it's only Hero Power in many decks (Miracle for instance).

It's too weak. Something like 2 Mana: Give your Weapon +4 Attack, +2 Durability and Windfury would be better.

All cards are balanced, but some cards are more balanced than others.

2 mana: Return a friendly munion to your hand. It costs (1) less.

My mandibles which are capable of pressing down and tearing, my talons which are known to intercept and hold.
Your heropower now triggers combos.
