Hey guys, so I just recently saved up 1600 dust and was thinking about crafting Edwin van Cleef since I mainly play oil rogue however, for the longest while I've been using a BGH in his place and I'm not sure Van Cleef will be a good replacement. Just wondering what your guys opinions are.
Those are two reeeeeally different cards.. It's rather a question of what you face on ladder than anything else. Myself, I usually prefer to have a bgh in my rogue decks, since saps don't really deal with, say, Dr. Boom..

I have used both in Oil and watched better players use a variety of builds, and personally I prefer Big Game Hunter right now. VanCleef is very good but not integral. You should craft him if you think he'll be fun and just want some variety, not necessarily to win more games.

not all who wander are lost
This is not even close. BGH is a hundred miles away better.
Thanks for the opinions guys, I guess I'll wait a bit first, like ggzone said, there might be something better in the next expansion.
turn 3 8/8 vancleef is op af, if left unchecked, hes pretty much the game.
im just a turtle...on a boat.
VanCleef is great in Oil Rogue. Even if you coin him as a 4/4 on turn 2, that's still decent. And he can get much better than that.
Its fangs are in your flesh before its hiss leaves your ears.
Golden Heroes: Druid -> Rogue -> Shaman -> Hunter -> Warlock
i like van cleef, turn 2 with coin, end of big combo. If nothing else people have to use a removal or something on him.
