I am looking for tips on how to make a basic Dragon Paladin deck. I just finished Blackrock Mountain today and am having some problems making a good deck with its cards. I would like it to be a paladin though
Dragon consort can be used to start your synergizing. Ysera is a must have for dragon paladin, puts some steam in your sails with card draw and heavy board presence. This deck should really build itself with the exception for your low drops, i would fill with Gnomish Inventor and Loot Hoarder but thats just me.
So wwith bits and pieces of that deck that kibler made, along with the basic cards and some of my own ideas, I made the deck. Any comments/ways to improve?
• Drakonid Crusher - I haven't tried this card yet, so I can't say too much about it. Though, it doesn't seem like it's among the better 6-drops out there. Try something like Sunwalker or maybe Sludge Belcher since you have only annoy-o-tron for taunts.
• Faerie Dragon - This appears like it would be good for a dragon deck, but there are some problems with it. For starters, it dies to nearly any minion the turn it's played. More importantly, though, is it probably never would get played. Between Shielded Minibot, Knife Juggler, and Blackwing Corruptor, it serves only to increase the odds of a dragon special ability.
• Volcanic Drake- This card is really hard to pull off, and even when it does work its 4 HP is a serious handicap which mean's it's just going to die to weenies. I think a better option would be something like Azure Drake or Sylvanas Windrunner.
• Aldor Peacekeeper is noticeably absent. Craft him soon! He's one of the staple answers Paladin has available.

You need to add some bigger taunts (Defender of Argus, or Sludge Belcher would be the go-to cards) and one more big dragon, any big dragon.
Remove the very weak cards in your deck like Faerie Dragons, Annoy-o-Trons and Dragonkin Sorcerer. The first two are aggro cards, and the dragon pally decks need to be midrange or controlish to work. The Sorcerer is just an arena card. If you're lacking dragons in quantity, add a second Crusher since it's always a relevant body, even as a 6/6, otherwise remove the one you already got as well.
Emperor Thaurissan and 2x Sludge Belcher for sure. Nefarian should do fine, it's a big threat that also gives you some card advantage. You could try Chromaggus and see which one fits your playstyle better. The upside of costing one less mana can be relevant. As for Drakonid Crusher, it's definitely not optimal but i understand you're running on a budget so it will have to do until you can upgrade it to something like Azure Drake.
Edit: just looked at your deck again. I would definitely play bothChromaggus andNefarian instead of a crusher.
Considering these cards, this leaves you with about 10-14 cards to tech the deck to your liking. Right now I would suggest to tech more for mid-range. This will allow you responses to both aggro decks and control decks in some fashion. I'd also highly suggest during this meta to use 1x Kezan Mystic. While this does bloat the 4 slot a little more, the tech is just too good to pass up right now. Once face hunter/tempo mage (and other residual mage decks like mech mage, secret mage, freeze mage, etc) get pushed out of the meta you can drop the Mystic for something else.

What should I put in for before I get Ysera?
I've been having a lot of success with Brian Kibler's Dragon Paladin. It doesn't use Ysera.

Looks okay for a basic dragon pally deck, but I have some suggestions.
• Dragonkin Sorcerer - since you literally have zero spells which target minions, this is essentially a dragon yeti. Perhaps consider a Piloted Shredder or Azure Drake instead.
• Drakonid Crusher - I haven't tried this card yet, so I can't say too much about it. Though, it doesn't seem like it's among the better 6-drops out there. Try something like Sunwalker or maybe Sludge Belcher since you have only annoy-o-tron for taunts.

Here is my personal decklist for Dragon Pally:
This is the deck that I've landed on - the dragon core here may help you with your own creation:

Okay so remove those cards, replace them with Emperor Thaurissan, Sludge Belcher, another Drakonid Crusher, and Nefarian? I say Nefarian because I don't have any other legendary dragons besides him, Chromaggus, and Malygos.
Emperor Thaurissan and 2x Sludge Belcher for sure.
