Finally Holy Wrath is totally viable thanks to Shirvallah, the Tiger!!! This deck is super fun, I love it!!! What about you, my dear Hearthpwners??? :D :D :D
Also, how many of you got completly rekt by it on ladder? Be honest people!!! :D
Shirvallah, the Tiger is a very flexible card and having many copies of this legendary in your deck can save your ass a lot of times. ;) People who rated it bad must be crazy. :P
It's a fun meme deck but Paladin DK OTK shits on it and most other decks. You can't time warp the Paladin DK OTK and he cycles faster than you with Call to arms.

I mentioned it in another thread, but with my Spell Hunter in one game, I got 4 0-cost Shirvallah's pulled on me + the 25 face damage wrath combo and still won. It's a good, fun deck, but has way too many counters.

I wasn't planning on going for a run today. But those cops came out of nowhere.
Weird - I take it back. When playing against it, I've wrecked it, but playing with it, I'm unfairly hammering everyone. It actually is a super solid deck XD

Just beat Odd warrior with it. The key is to hit face with all of your spells and weapons and draw as quickly as you can and pull of the 50 damage combo.
What are peoples' heal/draw/combo balances with the deck? Are people going for the double banker/actual OTK, or are you finding 25 damage enough (bearing in mind that DKs are still around for 35 EHP, or hunters for 40 due to Zul'jin as well)? Is it worth lobbing in something like Hemet to get to fatigue faster after drawing a banker? Has the downside of blowing up Time out/equality, but gives you speed, and you don't need a lot of those cards in slower MUs. Not entirely sold on Ashmore, as you need to be at fatigue to win anyway, so probably going to Tirion in that slot just for survivability. Also seen Zola mentioned as an additional use of Shirvallah.
Only once has more than one Holy Wrath been needed for the OTK, and that's because the first one hit a 50/50 chance non Shirvallah card. Just wear down your opponent's face instead of trading. They'll usually trade anyways.

Some minutes ago I finished a run 8-3 in the Standard Brawliseum (last day to play this brawl) with the last version of Bazookadin made by Kripparrian (thank you Kripp :P).
Bazookadin is f...king crazy and it's far from being just a meme deck. People playing Spell Hunter (or any other type of Hunter) and Odd Paladin didn't stand a chance against me. :) I faced a player using exactly the same deck, who made a lot of mistakes and ended up losing because of that. It's not the hardest deck to play out there, but it requires the player to think at least a bit more than usual, especially in mirror matches.

I love this deck, hehe! :D :D :D
Then talk to me, PLEASE, instead of just bragging and ignoring questions. Explain how you don't just lose to anything that's not spell hunter? How you deal with T2 7/2 and 2x 1/1s, followed up by divine favour for a full hand? Explain how you're outpacing anything with mecha'thun. How you're dealing with resurrect priest (yay, all my stuff I've played gets shuffled into the deck 3-4 times!)? How you deal with an endlessly reloading board from zoo when a single consec can't kill anything kelesethed, so you need to either pyro/eq or double consec, which means you have a sum total of three AEs. Against an endlessly refuelling board (and, ofc, our heals boost their minions). Hmm, what else have I seen? Oh, yes, >30 armour warrior. Shouldn't really need to point out anything else about that matchup.
This isn't hyperbole. This is what's wrecking me when I try to play this deck against anything that's not spell hunter. Don't get me wrong, it's good against spell hunter, to the extent you practically can't lose. But one good matchup and everything else is faster than us? Really?
Also, mirror match is a nightmare. If you're running a card that's otherwise dead (elekk), you win. Otherwise, if neither player is, then the slower player probably has an advantage in terms of not getting fatigued out? I've had two mirror matches, one of which I lost because I forgot about Shirvallah when accounting for the opp's healing sources, so no real expert on the MU.
Calm down dude, I didn't check your post until I posted mine. I was going to reply to you, but I had things to do in real life, Jesus... :(
But first, let me ask you one question, are you still using your version or the new one made by Kripp?

But first, let me ask you one question, are you still using your version or the new one made by Kripp?
I've tried Kripp's starting one, I've tried that one I posted, and I've tried crystology ones; they all seem to be unable to beat anything other than Hunter. I apologize if I sound annoyed, it's just feeling like I'm shouting into the void sometimes. Looks basically the same except elekk (which is dead 90% of the time, right?) and Ashmore, who will.. only draw shirvallah and a hoarder, and most of the time draw one card. Unless it's a different new version? I really don't see the appeal of Ashmore, particularly without Zola to be able to use Shirvallah; wouldn't a LoH be more draw, along with healing? I just can't see that appeal (or the lack of Thalnos being anything but an oversight).
Having no answer for over a day, and then someone coming in and being "This deck is awesome!" without addressing any of the questions just feels a bit like I'm being ignored; I do apologize.
Ok, the thing is I found this new version to be far more superior than the first one I used. You seriously have to give it a try. Lynessa Sunsorrow is just amazing on this deck, it is so good that sometimes it is better to use Flash of Light on an undamaged minion of yours just for Lynessa to cast this spell again and draw an additional card. This deck is made to cycle like crazy to find the correct answers, that is why Novice Engineer is much better than Loot Hoarder here. And against Odd Paladin, just play Shirvallah, the Tiger normally (usually followed by a Baleful Banker to at least shuffle a copy of this legendary into your deck), don't wait for the full combo, this card is a huge threat for this deck, especially if you use Spikeridged Steed on it (remember that Shirvallah will usually cost little mana in the mid game). ;)
Ah, right, that looks like an actually different list, thank you. For some reason I expected an amendment to the old deck (though that's a stupid idea, because it then can't be front page etc.; never mind that the old one is by far the easiest to actually find. SOmetimes I think Hearthpwn's systems are too gameable like that.). Certainly looks more solid with a shrink ray, Kangor, and Lynessa; a shame I'm not willing to throw the dust at Lynessa at this point in the card's lifecycle, so I'll have to just ignore STD for a while longer (same with the idea of Hemet). If I do continue on without Lynessa (though with both hoarders and novices), I'll try with the advice and extra equalities.
Thank you, and best of luck :)
Good luck to you too. :D But before you leave this thread let me give you one more advice: always, always try to cycle through your deck as quick as possible. If you have the option to use your hero power or play Novice Engineer, do not hesitate, play the little gnome always. ;) Oh, and this deck doesn't run Crystalsmith Kangor, but you were going to inevitably realize that anyway, hehe. :)
If you like Bazookadin but don't like loosing to Druid/Warrior here is the best news ever. With some small tweaks (that actually improve the consistency of the Bazooka OTK in my testing) you can also pull off the Four Horsemen OTK as a second win condition. I did get smoked by the deck once when I was messing around with a grindy Malacrass mage. I'm one of the few degenerates that misses ice block.
Been toying around with a control list that runs 1x Baleful Banker and 1x Holy Wrath into Shirvallah, the Tiger for a 25 damage combo, works wonders with Ashbringer or Grave Vengeance for precisely 30 dmg
That's Incredible!
i dont wanna be that guy. but how does those decks work against the degenerates running odd rogue and odd pally or the ocasional zoolock?
I smashed decks like Zoolock too many times already. The reason is pretty obvious: board clears, a lot of heal, immunity and taunts.

Meme deck. A good meme, but still a bad deck.
Yeah, sure, a meme deck... We'll see guys, we'll see... ;)

Zihi with Seance wrecks it.
Quest Priest with Seance wrecks Hunter.

I'll give it a go and have some fun. Who is the Legendary that draws rush minions?
