Dear Silver Hand Recruits, this is my current deck which helped me to reach rank5 (season47) after 2 days ( 22-6 the last few games from rank10 to rank 5 , 75%+ winrate)
There are two ways to win. OTK with Beardo + Coins or surviving until the aggro/tempo decks run out of steam.
Against aggro: just try to survive. Equality + Consecration + Pyromancer are great tools to stabilize after their powerplays. 0 cost Creeper + Spikeridged Steed are beasts and make Lynessa Sunsorrow happy. Zola of Gorgon can be used aggressively -> copy some 2 drops for more armor/taunts or additional tempo swings if you target Creeper. If you are safe you might want to Combo Lynessa + Gorgon for the extra value and unbreakable wall. Spikeridged Steed or DK Uther are most of the time enough to close the game. No Coins needed, play Beardo or Burgly Bully on curve or any time you feel the need for it. Don't try to get OTK combo vs aggro.
Control matchups are more tricky because we have to time our tempo swings to get some extra coins. For example try to play Call to Arms -> Bully turn5 or Pyromancer + Equality + Bully on turn 9
There are 3 ways to win with OTK, besides the fact that you need to be DK Uther + have Beardo in your hand
most of my games are won via sceneario 2) and 3)
tl:dr
cycle through your deck to get aoe clears + call to arms + spikeridged Steed vs aggro
cycle through your deck to get DK Uther + Beardo vs control + try to get some coins, atleast 1
if there is enough interest I can give further detials about specific matchups/mulligan situations
I tried a deck almost like this a few time ago, I didn’t like it too much when I played, but it is good, for those who use it properly.
Ye, not so easy to play but I always like to find/play off-meta paladindecks. After my latest changes I was surprised how good it works against all priest meta decks (razapriest, dragon+inner fire, big dude priest) + aggro/jade druid. Cubelock is the taffest matchup but not an autoloss.
Overall I underrated Zola of Gorgon. Very flexible card in paladin decks (3rd pyromancer, Aldor Peacekeeper, 2nd Lynessa, 2nd Tarim..) + the turn10 combo with Lynessa or OTK combo is really something people should look in.
+ it is insane how fast you can thin your deck with Call to Arms+ 2 Loot Hoarder + 2 Potion of Heroism / Blessing of Wisdom + 1-2 Lynessas. most of the time I have no cards left when my opponent still has 10 cards left
added the stats vs each class
with starting coin 100% wr (13-0), without coin 51%. coin is very useful vs aggro and of course for the OTK combo

General rule: Always mulligan for Call to Arms
